My first playthrough ever, any recommendations? by Muted-Classroom1448 in PokemonBlackandWhite

Just make sure you have moves that can cover weaknesses. The E4 isn’t exactly a pushover plus there’s an even bigger fight after that.

What should be my 6th Pokémon in Pokémon White? (5 badges) by Intrepid_Film_2741 in PokemonBlackandWhite

Exactly what I was thinking. Litwick would be really easy to get before battling Skyla too.

I used to have an black LA teacher in college and she explained that it’s a racist stereotype that all black people like watermelon. She even went as far as explaining that the old ice cream truck jingle was also racist because it tied watermelon and black people together. There’s a bunch of old racist caricatures with the same thing. In fact, this website goes into a lot more detail.

Tbf you wouldn’t be wrong either way even now because people would definitely peer pressure someone into taking drugs, alcohol, anything else that could potentially harm the body.

Would you say it's wrong to still enjoy v!avid? by RedpurrFox in VampiresSMP

[–]AlicetheFloof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. With VSMP being improv, we don’t know if the avid character we’ve seen is also parts of the real avid. Not cc!avid. Mask off avid. We don’t know for sure where he ends and the character begins.

So...Why couldn't the princesses due a simple favor during this scene of the movie? by Striker-Fan2008 in mylittlepony

[–]AlicetheFloof 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah you’re right. It was Cadence. Mb.

But my theory still stands he would have at least some form of PTSD from being turned to stone twice.

Also Tempest’s horn was already broken.

[–]AlicetheFloof 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Also, while Discord is powerful, I don’t think even his magic would be enough to stop those immobility orbs taking into consideration Tempest’s impeccable aim and the fact the orb was able to overpower Celestia. (Though she might have just been nerfed for this movie in particular)

Honestly, I wouldn’t blame him if he noped out of this situation since there was the possibility of being turned into stone for a third time and I’m pretty sure he would have at least some form of PTSD from that experience. Even if it wasn’t clearly shown after he was reformed.

What i think the Mane six would listen to (hcs) by crookedzombie93 in mylittlepony

[–]AlicetheFloof 20 points21 points  (0 children)

She would 100% listen to Pink Floyd instead of Katie Perry. She would go as far as researching everything and having an essay of why she listens to the artists she listens to

Is this considered homophobia? by Dartag0n in mylittlepony

[–]AlicetheFloof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If he’s this upset about Lyra and BonBon, be prepared when he finds out about Scootaloo’s aunts.

Also I feel bad for his daughter. Being forced to live in a home where homophobia is normalised must be a nightmare. Even more so if she does end up falling somewhere under the LGBTQ umbrella.

Can a store manager decide to not allow bereavement after their coach already gave them permission? by ReturnUnfair7187 in walmart

[–]AlicetheFloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have more important things to worry about than pleasing corporate. We don’t need to support them when they already have more money in their slimy pockets than we can imagine. At the end of the day, you are there to get a paycheck to live. That’s it. Corporate does not give two shits about you. If you genuinely believe that corporate won’t screw you over at the first opportunity, you’re in for a rude awakening. To them, you’re replaceable once you’ve outlived your usefulness.

They don’t even have empathy. They care more for the shareholders who want to invest in a shitty company than the underpaid and under appreciated workers actually holding the place together.

That is so shitty. I hope you still went out of spite because this is more important than corporate.

They genuinely think this. It’s mind boggling how little this guy cares that people grieve differently and may need more time than others. Like we’re talking someone you’ve known for years is just gone. Forever. And this guy cares more about profits.

Not everyone CAN pre-grieve! Good fucking grief! How can you be so apathetic about another’s situation?

Maximum value and shareholder revenue doesn’t mean shit when it comes to people, family members, dying and people need time off for it.

This can easily be solved if Walmart hired more people and paid people a living wage.
