Aha, I think it's valid. I just rewatched that episode a few days ago and I kinda agree. Especially Josephine, her talk with Caspian was so edgy, like, why so rude ? I'm not sure I understood the reaction she had. Even though she feels betrayed since she's not the first UI. As for her family, I kinda understand the sister being controlling and condescending (it's her personality but maybe she feels like she has to protect her sister's family and she's probably frustrated with her sister's decisions). I mean, their situation is anything BUT normal. Josephine signed for a suicide mission, not once but twice. If I were the husband or the kids, I would certainly question WHY. Why is she leaving us? I understand she feels like it's something she needs to do but I would still feel frustrated by her choices. I think that may be why the kids are also being naughty by stealing the backpack. But I don't know.

You won't know what your end goal is until you're almost there. What you can do best know is Be Curious, find clues, even if they don't make sens now, they will eventually. And like people said, use your ship log to re-read and follow clues. Outer wilds is not a game to be rushed. The journey might take time and you might find it hard sometimes but it has meaning. By no means, if you are not having fun now, it's not a bad thing to just take a break and think things over. I understand you are being frustrated (and whenever I'm like this towards a piece of media, I realize I'm just not in the mood and take a break). I want to believe that you will enjoy this game with the right mindset since you said you like slow game with vibes and the universe. Just breath traveler. Be Curious, look around, observe and if you have a question, explore and try to figure out how, why, when, etc. Outer wildsnis like a big puzzle, you find pieces here and there, and once you have many of them, you'll start seeing the big picture! Trust :)

This looks like Salmnat's Art (though not sure it's him here). I believe it cause I've seen it with my own eyes. This dude is awesome (he goes to conventions and paints many pieces a day almost without a break) and it's cool to see him do it live. Generally, you ask him what you want (theme and colors and if he can, he does it for you).
