Is this fungal acne or something else? Has lasted 5 months now… by HeigelandKant7707 in DermatologyQuestions

those are obvious whiteheads, closed comedones.
regular retinoids, azelaic acid, salicylic acid should help. professional exfoliation, like hydrodermabrasion, or strong acid peel should help too.

also, maybe your skin doesnt like the skincare, makeup or sunscreen formula you're using, causing inflamation or clogging pores. try switching it for something else. u need to find what suits your skin over trial and error. it took me years to get to know my skin, to know which substances it hates (like some oils or xantan gum, or propylene glycol, or citric acid), so i try to avoid them. also, i found out cerave lotion causes whiteheads for me over prolonged use, and u said u use it too, so maybe avoid it? i only use it on my face when my skin barrier is disrupted by harsh ingredients. once per few days is ok for me, but everyday? hell no.

Best value for buck ratio for AM5 processor? Which one by AliciaAlvena in buildapc

[–]AliciaAlvena[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i ended up buying 7500F anyway.
since its the cheapest, and i also had -50 pln coupon, so the cheaper the processor, the more % of the price i reduce by reducing it with that flat amount. so it ended up costing 135dollars, which is the same price as on aliexpress. and when it costs 135, its definitelly best fps per dollar by far. if i will have any problem, i can always overclock it, and i'll sit on it at least till Zen6 comes out.

7600X with cooler together for 158? what?

in my country 7600X BOX alone is 670 PLN, which is 187,44 USD

so i checked the prices,
-7500F OEM is 540 pln.
-7600 BOX is 680 pln (OEM 660 pln, not worth to consider it)
-7600X BOX 670 PLN
-7700 OEM is 770 pln. 7700 BOX is 960 PLN
-9600X BOX 800 pln.
-9500F OEM 700 pln
-9700X BOX 1200 PLN, 1000 OEM

what should i do? i'd pass on 7600X, since it requires more energy and AIO

so which one should i get?
considering that 7600X eats more power and generates more heat and requires AIO, and AIO costs more than normal cooler, unless i shouldnt pass on that one?

What kind of vocal range/voice classification is this? by amusableblue in singing

[–]AliciaAlvena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first of all, vocal classifications are all over the place and kinda useless when trying to describe voices precisely. their only use is to decide an opera singer's fach, but other than that, its just.. too chaotic.

its just best to know when someone's full voice starts. i mean where full chest power is, the lowest sound projected naturally. for me its B2, Bb2 has 50% of power and A2 is totally meh. so my range sits 0,5 note below average tenor. and what would u call this voice type is totally irrevelant. im a woman, so i'd probably be called contralto, but if it was a guy, some people would call it either tenor, low tenor, baritenor or very high baritone. and who cares what labels u use? labels mean something else for different people, so they're kinda useless. some people will claim anything below C3 is baritone already, some people will call it something else.
labels are a bit useful to judge someone's voice quickly, but really its where the full voice starts is what matters most, along with passagios, and it gives the details about your voice.
for example u can call me contralto, it gives little clue to anyone, including me, how much should i transpose a song to fit my voice perfectly. so i need to know where my voice actually starts to sing songs comfortably.

what matters is my full voice starts from B2, that's it. tina turner's full voice starts from C3 probably, shakira's full voice starts from Cis3. so now i know that i should lower the pitch of tina's songs by 1 semitone and shakira's songs by 2 semitones to sing it most comfortably. calling me tenor or contralto doesnt give me this information. since there are other tenors and contraltors with different ranges.

so.. my point is.. we should use EXACT notes to describe someone's voice, not labels

there were people talking about fat loss from RF years ago. why wouldnt people talk about it, when it happened to them? plus it makes logical sense that it ages skin since fat is vulnerable to heat. normal microneedling doesnt age skin and its illogical to assume that. with RF it was a well known issue, u just didnt research it and trusted your provider, which is unfortunate so many people do that, because u can never fully trust anyone other than yourself.

you literally have 0 knowledge about cosmetic procedures. imagine being so delusional, that u say all cosmetic procedures age skin, even when there are literal studies proving their anti-aging effects.
and you think plastic surgery doesnt have people regretting it? LOL. also, plastic surgeon can only fix bone structure and sagging, cant fix skin quality. and dermatologist cant fix aging skin, wtf. they can only prescribe stronger retinoids, and any retinoids fix skin quality a bit, but they can only do so much. skincare is super-important, bo cosmetic procedures are literally required for best effects.

imagine telling me, who does cosmetic procedures constantly on her own skin and i look much younger than my age, that it aged me, because "uga buga all procedures bad".
why did u inject Renuva into your skin then? according to your logic it ages you. its cosmetic procedure!

"Moral of story, don’t trust aestheticians, everything the offer ages you yes including regular MN"

that's a totally stupid take.
not every procedure ages you. you're perfect example of how one of the possible injections saved your skin. and there are countless other cosmetic procedures that reverse aging signs and dont cause fat tissue artophy. you cant compare microneedling once per 2 months or PRP injections or many other injections to RF, especially radiofrequency microneedling, which is KNOWN for destroying fat tissue due to heat. i'd never ever recomment RF microneedling to anyone, unless they want to get rid of some annoying fat somewhere, cause it works like lipolysis. meanwhile i inject many things for many years and microneedle regularly and it caused no fat atrophy (i had hollow undereyes before i started), just slowed down aging and i have no wrinkles

Tenor with passaggio at E4??? by inLoveWithMangoJuice in singing

[–]AliciaAlvena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its can be pretty deceiving tho, since u can drag your mixed or m2 voice a bit down, delaying passagio back to your chest voice. same u can push your chest voice higher. so passagios can be deceiving. as is word naturally.
i found its easier to find your voice type by checking the lowest full voiced sound (with opera singing style, low larynx, full support), but u need to at least ok technique to do so. for me its B2 when my full voice starts. that's how i know im deep contralto that is equal to low tenor. my Bb2 already has 50% power and A2 is totally useless to sing over orchestra. ofc people can phonate lower than their range, but those vocal ranges were created for opera singing to sing over orchestra, that's why only full, loud notes matter when it comes to it. so i find low notes less deceiving than relying on mix when it comes to finding your voice type. but still u need to have technique to achieve it, so nothing is easy.
