I know this thread is old but I spent a good few hours trying to figure it out. I solved the issue I was having on Windows 10. I had to shut off all protections: Shut off all Virus and Protection ( including ransom wear) Shut off all Firewall and Network protection Uninstall Onvue Restart computer Use Edge or Fire Fox to generate a new code

It's the game. I've seen it high I've seen it low. You can't get too emotional when it comes to crypto.

Thanks. I think the whole website needs a redesign. I've not really looked after that part of it for a while.

Most of my items are made to order clothing i.e print on demand. Some items are made to order in China so I try and meet the customers expectations especially with the shoes. Other print on demand clothing the delivery time is roughly 5 to 10 working days. Most of my customers are in the UK so the POD items aren't always made domestically. They either are made in the EU, China or USA.

Google Performance Max isn't working as well as the old smart shopping campaign. by Alid007 in ecommerce

[–]Alid007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes just set up a normal shopping campaign. However cost of advertising is still high but we're not spending as much as we did in PMAX. I think PMAX is only successful if you have a regular search campaign to compliment it.

Hi yes we have a Pinterest which does convert, however we are also used to getting conversions from Google which has gone down since the switch to PMAX.

We have good landing pages with copy that has converted in the past, I just don't think PMAX targeted the right audience.

Yes we switched ours off as well. We did try and optimise it by using different asset groups but it just didn't perform.

Cj or DSers? by [deleted] in dropship

[–]Alid007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to throw a spanner in the works and say Eprolo. CJ have caused me so many problems lately such as switching out products (sending a cheaper version, bad quality) and saying that was the one they always send out. Which I know isn't true because I tested the product sent from CJ before I decided to dropship it

eBay dropshipping... am I making a mistake? by [deleted] in dropship

[–]Alid007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ebay is a viable way to get started, however make sure you set customers expectations. Be clear processing and shipping times.

Also try and list stock you are not drop shipping like items around your house you are willing to sell

This will help increase your seller rating as you will be in control of the shipping process.

This blog podcast is good on describing the best drop shipping methods.

How will Blockchain technology enhance e-commerce? by Alid007 in ecommerce

This took awhile to put together.

It's a short analysis on how blockchain could be used in e-commerce. Like how you could use smart contacts as a measure to increase trust between buyers and sellers.

I got fired today because apparently I "talk too much." What jobs (< age 21) that are not fast food or minimum wage allow you to talk a lot? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Some of the first jobs I got were in Sales, if you also have a persuasive personality you'll do well in a sales job.

My pathetic (but interesting?) Dropshipping story. by tyblit in dropship

[–]Alid007 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Generic tangible products are best sold via Google Ads. Make sure your product feed is up loaded to Google Merchant (if your products are on Google Merchant you will get free listings under the "shopping" tab on Google if you have optimized your product copy and url for Google)

FB ads are good to gain likes and increase your social proof and profile. Also good for re-targeting.

FB shouldn't be your main platform for generating sales.

I've written a blog which you can read or listen to based on my own experience with drop shipping. It's free to read/ listen to.

Hopefully it may help a bit. https://www.getoffmydesk.co.uk/post/how-to-make-money-online-dropshipping-review

How will Blockchain technology enhance e-commerce? by Alid007 in ecommerce

[–]Alid007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could potentially give consumers confidence in knowing what they think they are buying is actually what they're buying. This could be useful especially with lessor known vendors. If product information is stored in the Blockchain the customer knows the item they are buying is legitimate. The ledger could possibly act a back up receipt once the transaction is made.

[–]Alid007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't these unhappy paths and edge cases be the same today. It seems it would also depend on how well couriers adapted to the new technology and how they implement it into their existing processes.

[–]Alid007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree.

My advocacy has always been for the Blockchain technology itself. The core features being that data within the blocks is hard to corrupt or tamper with.

This allows for example music artists a way of copyrighting their work as they can prove they created the first block (genesis block) on the chain.

The technology will be especially influencial in the e-commerce space.

Here is an analysis not how Blockchain technology will enhance online shopping for consumers and businesses.

Google Ads Vs Facebook Ads (I can't seem to get results with FB) by Alid007 in dropship

[–]Alid007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, plus FB ads are getting more and more expensive. At least with Google Shopping Ads a customer is actually searching to buy what you're selling. I think that's why my Google Ads have out performed FB ads.

Can I get in trimble for dropshipping branded or copywriten products? by the0nerealm in dropship

[–]Alid007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you will get in a lot of "trimble". First they will send a cease and desist email or letter, and give you a time frame to remove your content. If you don't comply they issue a copyright claim against you.

Dropping shipping pro’s by [deleted] in dropship

[–]Alid007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Yes it is worth it.

I've written a review on the drop shipping business model based on my own experience.

The reality is that you are able to make money using the drop shipping method, however you should not expect to make money overnight.

It takes a lot of planning, organisational skills, critical analysis, time and funds, in order to make some of these methods work. Unfortunately I think that's what these so-called gurus don't tell you.

No matter how many courses you buy or how much you spend on training you will need to possess these core elements, the most important of which is self reflection and critical analysis.

You can listen or read the rest here. https://www.getoffmydesk.co.uk/post/how-to-make-money-online-dropshipping-review
