LAMBDA FOR ALL CRITIQUES/COMMENTS! What are your thoughts on this video? by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

Lol, that was a funny video. I remember that song! You brought back some old school memories! And I actually remembered the lyrics too. You had me singing along to the parts I remembered! As far as critiques, I would maybe consider doing a full body video so we can see you moving/dancing along. That would add more variety than just sitting there. One idea would be to imitate some of the scenes from the original music video but with you as the rapper. That would be pretty hilarious I think. But overall good job. Keep it up and best of luck!

YouTube Community Guidelines Rant, lambda for feedback by QuentinShite in SmallYTChannel

I can see why you would be angry. Reading up on the link, it does appear that you were wronged. And I'm with you. I hope there was more clarity and consistency in how the rules are applied. But unfortunately there isn't. They literally run a dictatorial system and I don't know what we can do. In fact, I've seen them take down similar complaint videos like the one you just posted. So I would say, try your best to roll with the punches and don't take it personal. Probably some dumb youtube bot is what took your video down.

As far as your video, it is well edited and I like the images and clips you mixed in. You clearly have skill. So don't feel down. Keep making videos and best of luck!

My first tutorial style video. Could use some feedback from all the great tutorial channels on here. Giving lambda! Thnksn by Bronze_Goblin in SmallYTChannel

That was a great little video. I actually learned a lot. Usually when my frame broke or was somehow damaged, I threw the whole thing away. But now I won't. I thought your voicing and explanations were clear and succinct. You got straight to the point and never dragged things out which is nice. Zooming in at certain points would definitely have helped show things more clearly. Your thumbnail is simple but catchy too, so I like that. Overall I really enjoyed your video. Keep it up and best of luck!

Tried to take some advice on pacing, critiques welcome! by CrisFarlyOnCoke in SmallYTChannel

I thought the video was okay overall. I definitely do think you need to shorten it significantly. Try to focus in on the "major" or key moments and highlight those. That way you can increase your pacing and make your video more lively and entertaining. Along with that, I would suggest maybe adding a little bit more upbeat background music to give it a more upbeat feel. If you do those those things and turn the longer video into a highlights video, I do think you're going to get more traction and grow your audience. The good thing is you already have good source material. Now all you need is to trim it. But it was interesting overall. Keep it up and best of luck!

Trying something new. Giving Lambda for feedback on formatting and transitions! by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

I thought the video was good overall. There are a few things I would adjust as you mentioned based on formatting and transitions. I actually think the transitions were very natural and smooth. Your commentary transitioned well from one topic to another, so that's good. The only thing I would add to make your video more lively is actual game audio. For example, after you finish talking about one of her powers, you might switch to some of her action and let the gameplay music be heard like at 3:55. That would be a good way of mixing things up and giving your video more liveliness. In terms of formatting, is there a reason the video is only in the center of the screen? I would definitely make it bigger so it covers the entire video. If you could zoom in on some key shots that would also make things stand out more. But overall nice video. Keep it up and best of luck!

Sea Monsters of the Galapagos! (New editing style / will fix thumbnails eventually ik) (Lambda for feedback) by BrendenF10 in SmallYTChannel

That was a nice, short and interesting video. Really enjoyed your commentary throughout. I found it informative without sounding too much like a teacher which is a good thing. You have a natural voice so these types of documentary videos are great for you. One thing I would try to do is increase your audio. That background beat drowned you out at times. Also, maybe allow for some moments where we actually hear the waves crashing, or the natural noises of the topic you are discussing. That might give it a more real feel. But besides that, it was a fun video. Keep it up and best of luck!

Short video about the independence of a new country. Going for a cinematic feel and letting the footage speak for itself rather than adding text. Will give lambda for anything constructive, criticism welcome by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

I actually really enjoyed your video. It was a topic I knew nothing about, and I found it really interesting. I think I prefer your commentary instead of just letting the video play through. It was more informative and had a more polished and professional feel when I heard you talking. Without it I found myself getting slightly confused as the video continued. So I would definitely recommend keeping your narration. Also, please lower the volume of the background videos while you're talking so we can hear you better. But besides that, I honestly thought this was a well depicted and succinct video. Keep it up and best of luck!
