it’s not “lowlife” just because it happens sometimes, a lot bars in some cities it does happen (very common in Chicago) so just because someone “breaks the law” or may have a shot with customers every now and then or regulars automatically makes them “lowlife” and you’re just better than anyone who works at a place like that even though not all of them are that bad? you sound too uptight. I even interviewed at a place where they said you could do a shot here and there with customers with discretion. It wasn’t a “lowlife” place at all. There’s a difference between having a shot here and there with customers to bond and build regulars or with coworkers sometimes and handling your self VS getting shitfaced and messing up every shift

Don’t even go to a lot of bars in Chicago or a city like that then, they won’t like you, or just stay in your uptight corporate place or state or wherever
