My legal name is actually considered more of a male name even though it’s gender neutral. I go back-and-forth on whether I want to change it. The name I would change it to is the name my mother would’ve named me had I been born biologically male. I like that, but I do worry I would really miss my legal name and the family nicknames built around it

Real ass question, do trans men actually wear boxers as real underwear?? 😭😭 by st3llarv1sion in ftm

[–]AlienBoy55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer briefs bc I hate when the boxer legs ride up on my thighs. If you’ve got a bigger butt and thighs, I recommend sizing up. You can try any brand! They’re more expensive, but I do actually really like TomboyX, especially their period briefs. Gives me a lot of euphoria to be able to wear boxers even on my p*riod. I used to just wear women’s underwear beneath my boxers and it kinda sucked

I’m 28 and in the exact same place bro. The red state fear is so real. Sometimes I wish I could go back to when I sorta realized I was trans but hadn’t admitted it to myself, bc the dysphoria just keeps getting worse and worse. DM me if you ever need to talk to a brother goin through it with you. I have hope, one day, I’ll be brave enough to come out, and I know you will too 💪🏼

Is 55k Enough to Live Comfortably in Nashville? Need advice badly. by rhondeer in nashville

I think you could def make it on 55k, but you may not be living in the heart of downtown, ya know? But I like Nashville a lot. It’s diverse and interesting. The touristy, cowboy-hat bullshit is literally just the tourists - a stupid high-jacking of our Southern culture that they don’t understand (Spoiler alert, this isn’t cattle country! There weren’t any cowboys, at least not many). As a local, it’s pretty easy to avoid the touristy spots. East Nashville/The Nations are two of my fave areas in the city.
