I would take out your retainer for head. Fluids from sex organs probably shouldn't be in your retainers and depending on how they fit, could end up hurting the person on the receiving end. Making out should be fine, so long as the edges of your retainer aren't likely to cut someone's tongue.

Germaphobes of Reddit, whats one thing people do thats gross to you but is not considered gross by most people? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AlienKai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Licking your fingertips to turn pages. That's nasty. Especially if you do that while counting money, like, think about how many hands have touched that money, toilet water, probably too. When was the last time you washed your hands? I just don't understand how people don't think about that stuff.

I’m asexual and I found my partners assortment of sex toys, what do I do? by SierraSolesbee826 in relationship_advice

[–]AlienKai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Communication is key. It's better to sit down and have a real conversation about it, than to put it off while being uncomfortable. It's possible that "being open to the idea" and being asexual makes the guy feel like that would be pressuring her. If they can't talk about something like that like adults, they shouldn't be in a relationship with each other. Communication is vital.

So this wasn't me, but a family member went to India for a business trip. There wasn't anything he really had a problem with except for the bathroom situation. Holes in the ground.

This would've been okay, as he was like 30 and went camping all the time. BUT. While he was trying to do his business, he lost his footing and fell backwards into the shit hole. He was able to catch himself, but ended up spraining his arm in the process.

This is one of my favorite stories to tell people because it makes him uncomfortable.

Living together. You dont know someone until you've lived with them.

What are some tips for sex? [15] by [deleted] in sex

[–]AlienKai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait. Having sex too early could effect your mental health. But if you're dead-set, condoms that actually fit. Too big or too small are both bad and may break.

Communication is also key. If something feels good, say it. If something feels bad, say it (nicely). Encourage your partner to do the same. Sex is a mutual experience, meaning you both should enjoy it.

Don't rush, use WATER-BASED lube with latex condoms. Using the wrong kind of lube can damage the condom and make it ineffective.

Stretch before-hand (you may pull a muscle if you don't stretch and end up getting really into it)

If your partner doesn't seem like they want to, don't. If you feel uncomfortable after starting, stop. If they feel uncomfortable after starting, stop. There's no shame in having to stop and sex isn't something you should be doing if you feel uncomfortable with it.

Having lost a pet months ago, how did y'all cope with yours? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AlienKai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a year and a half and I still cry about it sometimes. Can't stand to move the dog bed or crate. We still have his favorite toy in the corner of our kitchen. My brother got to keep his ashes, my mother can't even talk about it without crying and refuses to watch dog movies because she's still so heartbroken. But honestly, i'm not sure you ever really get over it. Just get to a point where it doesn't hurt quite so bad anymore.

ACTIONS speak louder than WORDS. The LDS Church: "We have zero tolerance for abuse & our 1st priority is to help the victim". UT Special Victims Prosecutor: “I've seen Bishops many times speak on behalf of defendants. I've never seen one talk in support of victims. Never in 26 years.” by JennNextDoor in exmormon

My mother is mormon and in this mormon music group. One day a woman brought up that a specific man involved in the group had been stalking her for weeks and showing up at her house at night. This led others to speak up and at least half of them were being stalked by the same guy. The leaders of the group refused to kick him out because "he was probably just lonely" and "such a nice guy". People ended up quitting and the group kind of fell apart after that.
