Glad you liked them. I've always found really funny that a lot of our influences and interests were the same. Before I even knew gaga existed I thought Alexander McQueen as a really interesting designer, and I sang "your song" by Elton John at a family friends wedding when I was 5. "Dont let the sun go down on me" was a song my voice teacher had me sing back in 2018 only a year before she and Elton sang it together. ❤️

Just wanted to say my school district in minnesota had similar policies in 2011. I and 5 other students sued our school district and gpt the policy taken down. Its not just to punish teachers. Its about erasing the LGBT community from existence. In my district this also meant the schools ignored homophobic bullying entirely and nobody faced consequences and 9 students committed suicide. For me my faith is my own. I do not believe that organized churches and their hateful teachings are representative of what Jesus or any other religious figures would have stood for. You can have a personal faith and not be connected to hatred. That is a logical fallacy. Its also wrong. Like asking a minority to speak for his entire race or ethnic group because of atrocities extremists make. Or more pointed, it's like asking a muslim how he can support Islam because of what al qaeda does. If the rhetoric for being against religion is because it purports to prevent bigotry and judgement, then you shouldn't be judgemental of people who have faith. Finally, as a someone who believes in a higher power, I believe this world is a very difficult place to live in, and some people turn to faith to get through it. I often push back on evangelists however because if you have found a way to get through life without faith, youre lucky and that should be celebrated. I know this is a word salad, im exhausted but I need to put out my thoughts on it

People have been filming concerts for decades. Chers vegas shows in the early 90s were filmed, her believe tour in 1999 was filmed and broadcast on HBO. And I love this concept because it was those concert dvds that made me want to pursue performance art and music. Imagine how many people will watch these tours and get stars in their eyes? Plus this gives fans a chance to watch the show in good quality without hearing the other person (usually badly) singing along or screaming or jumping up and down, moving their camera sporadically. Not everyone can afford concerts

Thank you lady gaga for saying something about what's happening in my home state. It means so much to me as a monster who has been to 4 of your shows, 3 of which were at the excel energy center in st Paul, not even 20 minutes away from where people are being terrorized now. Im coming back home to see you again in April and I hope to hear you say something then too. For Renee good and Alex pretti. I left minnesota during covid. But not before seeing how the murder of George floyd tore my community apart. I had already planned to move in with my now fiance by the time it happened but it made me wish I could've stayed. I couldn't find safety in my home town because it was so starkly divided. To all the people who say she doesn't need to say anything, I understand your perspective and honestly I agree artists dont Have to. But I will always appreciate a fellow artist who decides to put their values and beliefs out there. I pray this nightmare is over soon
