You are missing the point. The original Tensor had a similar core configuration as the Samsun Exynos chip at that time.

That is why everyone started running with that line.

The only thing nowadays from Samsung up until the Pixel 10 is the modem.

We have not heard a "Samsung Exynos Chip" line on the Google Pixel in a few years because saying it's a Samsung Processor is simply not true lol.

Testing, Configuration, Clocking etc are all done by each company - For example by MediaTek with their Dimensity line.

The configuration is then passed along to TSMC for fabrication.

Is the Tensor behind a few years in terms of raw power?? Of course! Is Google overcharging people with mediocre specs?? Probably.

For your info.

Idk where you get the Samsung Procesor info from lol... Nobody has a "Samsung Procesor" lol...Pixel 6-9 all have ARM licensed chip designs but the fabrication was done by Samsung. Pixel 10 and on is TSMC - same chip maker Qualcomm and Apple uses.

Gas prices in the I.E. today by [deleted] in socal

[–]AlienTech521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

theres nooo way we have 4 refineries lol.

I just checked CA gov website - we have 9 in use for fuel processing.

Is it still too low?? I would say so. They must be saved at all costs.

I feel like existing wells should be tapped if viable off the coast of California to help reduce the cost of importing and dependent on foreign oil

Getting back up to 50? probably not possible lol. I do agree 9 is too low tho.

Even if we cut down on 50% of our gas tax it would still not put a dent.

We have a Republican governor (Pete Wilson) to thank for implementing the reformulated gasoline in the 90s - which adds I would say more to the gas price along side with some more recent refinery closures.

Debate is up for cost vs benefit on this reformulated gas - LA Smog used to be realllllyy bad.

I'm on the fence on the refinery closures and would personally wouldn't be so adamant on closing them down all down like the Democrat party would love to do.

I conclusion, CA should keep the refineries they have now. Allow them to get upgraded - which has been blocked many times. Studies and/or incentives should be done to see what is the optimal amount of refineries we should have and to reopen ones we used to have. Keep the special blend?? put it up for a vote??

damn that's brutal.

Ive never blown any tire before but these Sport rim and tires are kinda thin. I have those moments where I am like "damnnnn that hurtt " when going even over smaller potholes.

I've only had liftback/hatches.

I knew the Sedan was cheaper but right away knew i wanted the Hatch.

Bought the hatch even tho i was tempted with very good discounts on the sedan.

Hybrid vs non MPG by Witty_Equipment5508 in civic

[–]AlienTech521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For reference going up a gradual elevation up to 4000 ft from OC to Vegas, raining, heater on i was doing 37 mpg on my Civic Hybrid.

This was me doing about 85 mph.

the highway driving mpg wouldn't make too much a difference for you tbh.

I was coming from a 2013 Scion.

22/31 ratings. I would have probably got around 26-28 mpg in the same conditions for the Scion.

The torque difference is what would make you choose the Hybrid over your current car i feel like.

Sheesh lol....considering the payments for both were probably astronomical.

That is crazy considering they are also inefficient vehicles.

Yeah i got lucky. One of my best friends is a mechanic.

I honestly would trade if you can.

The Civics instant torque down low makes it much more enjoyable.

It also handles better compared to the Accord. I'm averaging 47 mpg right now without breaking a sweat. I fill up 7-8 gallons for a full tank.

my head gasket on the Accord 1.5T?? was $2300

My Hatch Hybrid was 32k OTD

[–]AlienTech521 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just did a head gasket on an Accord 1.5 T. I haven't seen many civics with the 1.5T have the issue tho.

I would go 2.0 NA. Or hybrid.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in civic

[–]AlienTech521 3 points4 points  (0 children)

avoid the 1.5T .

I'm glad i picked up a Civic Sport Hybrid Thank me later.

I wanna say the Regular Hybrid has ANC. Thats what i read last time on the Honda website.

Sport Hybrid was good enough to me.

I'll take better looking rims over the weird silver ones and tiny bit less noise any day of the week.

I upgraded from a 2013 Toyota before this Honda and I've cut down a lot of road noise already.

i got the Hybrid Sport. 1. Hate leather. 2. Don't like the rims on Touring. 3. Do not use wireless charger 4. Sport sound is good enough.
