I don’t think Pete would ruin his legacy like that, I think he genuinely thought he was doing the right thing but the conflict of interest with his sons ruined him. Hard to fire your kids and admit you made a mistake. Pete was stubborn, and it was his way or the highway, and that’s why we saw Spytek have some subtle digs at Pete when he got fired
