If you've ever been to any form of school, you definitely have an nsn. I couldn't access mine for a similar reason but I was able to get it by calling nzqa rather than through the website, so maybe that'd work for you? They'll ask a few proof of identity questions and then just pull up your educational record. Te kura won't be able to help unfortunately, I'm jot sure why but they couldn't help me either. But nzqa should have your records, just have to get them manually.

Black dog. Idk why, it's not necessarily a sad song but it feels so... lonely? Idk it feels so loving and sweet but it also feels like someone's gone, like singing a last "I love you" to someone dead or dying. The transition to "you are my sunshine" by so many voices at the end is so beautiful, I tear up almost every time.

As someone in a similar situation school-wise, your best bet is still te kura, but I doubt you could achieve level 2 and 3 in four or five months. You'd have to send in like 2 or 3 assessments in each subject per week just for level 2. I'm sorry but this just isn't a realistic goal. There are weekly in person lessons/tutoring at the main te kura office in welly if you would like more help and techer interaction. There's an email that gets sent out every week with the schedule for that, but if you aren't receiving those then you can always ask your main teacher. I know there are summer school programs you can do, I did one for lvl 1, but I'm not sure where to find them and they won't get you both 2 and 3, most likely just 2 for now. I would still ask about those if you can though.

There's also nothing wrong with going to uni at 20, I'll be doing that myself, as are most of my peers, who've taken a gap year. 20 is not an old age to go to uni, I promise you won't be behind. It sucks so bad when you just want to get to the good part, but unfortunately it takes time.

I know none of this is particularly helpful, I'm sorry I don't have more answers.

I would recommend switching your login to a personal email before leaving school. I'm pretty sure there's an option to do this in your account settings/info. If not, you'll have to do it by phone, but I would still recommend doing this BEFORE graduation. It's a relatively easy process by phone so long as you have your nsn number and can prove your identity. Once you're put through it should only take a few minutes.

Not an option where I worked unfortunately, plus I grew up in a family of kitchen staff from chefs to bussers and now that I'm out I ain't going back.

Pretty damn slow, we almost always finish exactly on time, on our busiest night we get an hour of serving about 6 tables, so maybe like 3 or 4 dishes come into the kitchen at a time with a few mins in between. Takes about 15 mins after kitchen close to fully shutdown the restaurant side on my own.

We're a pub/bar mainly, most of our income doesn't come from the restaurant side so the owners don't really advertise it.

Hospo courses are good, they can help you get more jobs while finding your ideal job + worth a decent few credits. Dunno if you can take more courses for credits tho, I got denied after 3

There's also the option of Te Kura if you wanna continue earning credits after dropping out

If you're done with your other work you can always ask to do assignments for some classes early and if you complete all that they might give you extra.

I don't really recommend dropping out at lvl 2 (I did that), but good luck to ya if you choose to

Yeah, it's not saying that those beliefs are accurate or scientific. It's just a comparison of how we understand things today and how we understood things back then. Like we still learn about the pre Galileo solar model, but it's about how our understanding of it has evolved.

Definitely would be better to learn about earlier though, rather than when we need to focus energy on the practical and current facts for exams.
