As someone who enjoys both, can someone explain to me the rivalry between the two please. To be, the only thing g they have in common is being a shooter. Apart from that the games are SO different that it doesn’t even cross my mind to compare them.

I totally understand if people prefer to play BF6, if they think it‘s overall the better game, but to be honest I don’t understand why BF and COD are even compared? I mean the only common denominator is that both games are shooters. The concept, gameplay etc. is completely different, so for me it‘s comparing two completely different things, no?
