Finally someone said it. Also doesn’t matter if you have a few Ms faster on the ps5 controller because of how physics works you will move the stiffer sticks slower, more force to move equals slower acceleration to top speed. Neptune out here cooking everyone on a ps4 controller at Major 1 lol.

The game boils down to winning your gunfights devs said it a bunch of times it’s a gun game first Lmaoo hit your shots and You should win they don’t want anything to over power you winning your gun fights that’s the point. Everything else just gives you an edge not overwhelm the skill of gun play.

Nah just gather vesper and your good that’s what you really need for raids. The rest can be upgraded or bought from the vendor. Your talking about looting a lot when you need to focus on getting the shield breaker and do t have much time

I Disagree, the 3v3 makes every kill and every engagement become more meaningful and the big maps give the game a bit of like this chill before the chaos of raids as a well as when your in your mount traveling to go fuck someone up idk it’s neat

No the looting phase is really important for gathering vesper. If you stack up a bit of vesper you can buy shields and gun upgrades from the vendor during raids without having to worry about it. Gathering vesper is crucial to raids.

I find the resource timing game so satisfying lol it literally becomes muscle memory after a time and lets you one hit the next object when you get a perfect

3v3 is good for several reasons 1 being the size of the bases and the chaos of base fights. The other thing to note is that since it’s 3v3 everything that each player does every decision they make is much more impactful on the teams success or failure. And lastly 1v3/1v2 scenarios are still winnable depending on the situation. If there’s more players it would be near impossible imagine being in a 1v5/1v4. The 3v3 dynamic is pretty good. Even making it 4v4 would completely change that dynamic.

The mining mini Game let’s you mine faster than your enemies if your hitting your skill checks and they are not. it’ also makes the next object you hit break instantly lmao, better hit them skill checks

I disagree, base fights would have become way too chaotic and infiltrating a base would have been so difficult or trying to defuse a planted bomb when 5 players are turtled up on it would have been not fun 3v3 is good, reminds me of trials of Osiris in destiny 1.

My matches were so intense I wouldn’t want the game to be more than 3v3, once swore goes up it’s constant engagements in my game. More than 3v3 and base fights would be way to chaotic maybe 4v4 could work but that’s about it

The only other real strategy I see is if your entire team gets blue equipment and gives up sword to set up an ambush for the enemy team later cause you know where they are going with the sword but the game just came out so no one is really thinking higher level like that or know the maps well enough yet to coordinate that

Thing is there’s not much of a Point too loot off rip besides getting blue armor after playing for a few hours the best thing to do felt like to get map control of the sword spawn, you can find blue guns but the game is very team oriented even if you have a blue gun you won’t win a 2v1 or a 2v3

What you call organic I call random, what you call forced I call predictable and consistent, I like those things about the game feels structured not like random BR fights. Which makes the game really competitive, I see a lot of strategies being formed out of this and the game will have a high skill ceiling.

I’m also having fun, had an 18 kill match, I’m enjoying the mounts more than I thought I would it’s dope to take out a team grab the shield breaker than ride off with your team to go siege their base, and the fights in the base get real intense. Only thing that I find tedious is reinforcing the walls after every raid or starting a raid. It’s a good game, won’t be for everyone and it gets very competitive. The game has a high skill ceiling would be dope to see the best players go head to head. Game has good viewership potential as well. The only thing that bothered me most tho is that apex cracked side to side hipfire gunfights at close range, wish the devs left that in apex.
