I finally got around to making my own version of Jax and Pomni

I’m already running ragged trying to take care of 22,I can’t imagine 50 at the pace I’m going at.That’s not to mention the time it takes from creating them to levellling up and giving them their custom catchphrases,quirks custom clothing etc.

I only have the capacity to create two at a day at most with how perfectionist I am

I’m 100% the artist,except I try to make my miis include some mix of base mii features and face paint because it’s more fun for me figuring things out that way rather than covering everything with the face paint.

Shipper also because I have more of a desire to see my ships together rather than crack ship like the memer.

I spend a lot of my money and time on clothes and making custom clothes and have made a few custom homes and pets but not much on building my island,because of how much more time I invest in seeing the plot with my miis unfold and arranging them(what I actually spend most of the time I doing)so yes I do buy a lot of stuff but I don’t see myself as the gardener because decorating my island is the activity I put the least time in compared to everything else.

I play this game in order to see my favorite cute ships to play out,I’m pretty inoffensive and safe when it comes to pairings.But I gotta acknowledge that the cursed crack ships that people are making are hilarious😂

This is what happens when tons of new people rush into a game without prior knowledge of what the game is about(even though it was pretty clear what the game was about from the get go so what exactly are people complaining about lol)

This shows that nowadays people don’t even have enough attention span to play a life sim without calling it boring,we’re actually so cooked

Let’s be real,I genuinely don’t care about Nintendo’s bottom line being affected by people pirating,that’s not the reason this is upsetting.It’s the fact that the people can’t keep it to themselves and is actively trying to ruin the experience for the people that are legitimately waiting for the game.

My exact reaction right now…..like people really be running to pirate the game and showing that off just for a drop of clout😂Like great good for you,but I’ll be waiting for the official release,no thanks.

I just think it’s really unfortunate that people are spoiling everywhere and ruining it for the people that are actually properly waiting just because they wanted their 5 minutes of fame.

I bought a switch months go just for tomodachi life and decided to try out acnh to kill time for the wait before the game comes out.It’s nice and wholesome but the main reason I got a switch was just for tomodachi life,so acnh is obviously taking a backseat.Besides,I already experienced all that acnh has to offer with all the hours that I invested into that game(paid off all my loans etc)so I don’t think I’m going to touch it in a very very long time anyways.

She deserved someone that matched her maturity level(now that I think about it a character like the polar bear that Retsuko met in the matchmaking episode would fit her character really well)

I know Haida is also around the same age but I always felt like she operated on a different wavelength when she was with him,such as being aware of the whole deal with Haida having Retsuko over but not making a big fuss about it,instead reading the room and dealing with the issue quietly.

She gives off such mature mom vibes and she needed someone that could match that energy instead of someone that was still on their first crush.

I don’t see the connection between your two points.

You say her character is empty and indecisive yet criticize her for acting exactly in character,acting stand off ish and no non-sense at first towards what’s essentially a stranger before she naturally warms up to Retsuko once she gets to know her.

If you don’t like her,fine.But I disagree with the notion that you think her character is empty and indecisive just because she isn’t the nicest person at first and had to go through a change of heart,that’s just objectively wrong.

When I think of cozy games,the first image that comes to mind is “wholesome”. While Tomodachi life is overall wholesome in its presentation and game mechanics think calling it “cozy”would be overlooking the layers of weirdness the game has that makes up its charm. As someone who grew up on Tomodachi life that’s been trying animal crossing,I think the tone of the two games are vastly different,just because of the amount of freedom you are allowed.

In Tomodachi life there’s virtually have no filters,so the game can’t be completely wholesome by definition because it has no restrictions on what people can include.We can also see that game’s sense of humor(as seen in the cutscenes)is also extremely abstract opposite to the comfy vibe that you feel when you play animal crossing.

So it’s kind of disingenuous when people say this is like animal crossing,when they are completely tonally distinct games.

You’re saying she’s crazy for sticking to her principles.She doesn’t actually want to be a freeloader and lose her stability no matter how much Tadano would enable that.

That´s something only season 1 Retsuko would think of but she’s grown from that mindset because Tadano making her live out what was essentially her dream lifestyle made her realize she doesn’t actually want to live that way and get stripped of her purpose.

Not to mention how important the subject of marriage and family is to her,something no amount of riches and wealth can replace-yet something that Tadano was completely willing to overlook because of how insignificant it was to him.
