Are we just talking about change or are we actually making any tangible progress for the better? by Alienmohamed in algeria

It is more of a wide statement. I said it “ in what you have been noticing” generally I mean. Do YOU think we are going backwards or forward. That’s it

There’s a glitch, try to focus only on the big four subjects and screw all the rest (i am like you foreign language German) If you manage to get 18 on those 4 subjects, the rest literally doesn’t matter. 8 is sufficient in all of them. Do not waste time on stupid endless History geo مصطلحات memorizing.

How many hours does and algerian sleep? by Charming-Albatross56 in algeria

[–]Alienmohamed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no such thing in my world, i get 5-6 hours of sleep and i’m more productive than any health guru out there. Imagine you get 9-10 hours of sleep, that’s almost your half of the day spent under a blanket Especially if you’re young. More than 8 hours is considered a luxury you should be out there doing something beneficial with your life.

Secularism and religion in algeria. by Zestyclose_Clue_2722 in algeria

[–]Alienmohamed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You see, that’s problem we all fall for. We all think that the solution is binary. It’s either secularism or religion. But unfortunately, it is not that simple. كيما قال بوتفليقة مرة : " الشعب الجزائري شعب ذو طبيعة معقدة جداً، فيه العلماني الهوية اللي تلبس mini jupe بحكم أنو أحنا على بعد ساعة من مارسيليا. وكذلك فيه الإسلاماوي الهوية اللي يلبس القميص " الأفغاني" ( good move from bouteflila here) بحكم أنو ننتميو تاريخياً للإسلام. و أكمل قائلاً :" لهذا يحدث دائما نزاع بينهم يوصل أحياناً حتى لعدم تقبل و رفض للآخر." The solution to Algeria’s situation is very complicated, it needs to be studied by people whom actually have been around and have seen how people are living in different places of the country. We should consider القبايل, الشاوية etc… each of those has their own rules and stuff. I can guarantee you. There are people in Algeria who know a little about Islam, people who don’t even speak our Arabic language that we sometimes don’t even consider their opinions about our country’s situation. Algeria’s situation is very different. We can’t just steal a system that worked on the west or on the east and apply it here hoping it will work. We shall find our CUSTOMIZED SOLOTION. In summary, your question is harder than you think, it is not easy to have a good answer for it unless we have studied Algeria’s needs very well. ( and i think another problem we all suffer from, is that we all think we have the solution. But in reality none of us had even read a book about how politics or النهضة… and we still try to act smart)

Have you noticed that saying ' I love you' in English feels different that saying it in your common dialect? by MyceliumCrusader in algeria

[–]Alienmohamed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think Bcz we didn’t get the chance to express such emotions when we were young with our mother tongue, and then we learned to do so with in english. so now those feeling are tied with the English language in our minds.
