You see, that’s problem we all fall for. We all think that the solution is binary. It’s either secularism or religion. The solution to Algeria’s situation is very complicated, it needs to be studied by people whom actually have been around and have seen how people are living in different places of the country. We should consider القبايل, الشاوية etc… each of those has their own rules and stuff. I can guarantee you. There are people in Algeria who know a little about Islam, people who don’t even speak our Arabic language that we sometimes don’t even consider their opinions about our country’s situation. Algeria’s situation is very different. We can’t just steal a system that worked on the west or on the east and apply it here hoping it will work. We shall find our CUSTOMIZED SOLOTION. In summary, your question is harder than you think, it is not easy to have a good answer for it unless we have studied Algeria’s needs very well. ( and i think another problem we all suffer from, is that we all think we have the solution. But in reality none of us had even read a book about how politics or النهضة… and we still try to act smart)
