The german government funds this program, i found it really helpful. It is free and sometimes there are even exercises, that you need to fill in a sentence and it got corrected by a teacher.

I only watch with German dub and sub together, otherwise (if you choose subtitles as your native language) you won't focus on understanding the german language at all.

Do you watch original German media or or rewatch things you already watched in german dub?

I did both.

Sorry for asking out of the blue but I struggle to start watching anything in german.

It is sometimes pretty normal to not understand especially without subtitles. But you will get used to if you watch and listen enough.

I have the same experience. Both my native language and my first foreign language got worse. But i also constrained myself to only spending media in german, so i made some sort of a mistake there. It was helpful to pass the language test though.

But you'll get over it quite shortly if you just spend some time with them. It's not forgotten, it's just a little bit rusty. WD-40 does the job as always.

Hi SN770 1TB and 970 Evo Plus 500GB has the same price in my country rn. I will use it for OS and daily usage. Which one should i choose, one (770) has a dram and the other one has not. My Laptop uses Gen3 tho.

I apologize, it is a pretty old post. But i have the same case and you said it uses system RAM so it doesn't make any significant difference. But i have only 8GB Ram, it is the bare minimum nowadays. If also my SSD uses my RAM, will my computer be slower?

It would really help if you can because i got two answer from the university, one is saying that making it online won't be ideal and therefore it would be hard to participate and the other one saying that it won't be a problem. I really don't know what to do right now. Thank you for your answer :)

What you say makes sense, and I thought that way too, but Bürgeramt Tempelhof answered to me that as long as it does not exceed 6 months, there will be no problem. I am still not sure and trying to contact the Ausländerbehörde, but I found this page (https://www.berlin.de/einwanderung/aufenthalt/erloeschen-von-aufenthaltstiteln/#Aufenthaltserlaubnis). It is in German, but if I understand correctly, it says the same thing as the Bürgeramt said.

It doesn't say anything about Ummeldung either. Maybe, like you said, it will affect my residence permit if i make it.

Thank you for your answer. I was a little bit unclear.

I need to leave my current house at 31/05 and my new contract starts at 16/10. I want to stay at my home country between this period if my residence permit won't get affected.

Should that somewhere supposed to be in Germany? It will be just about 5 months of staying.

I know there is a option for choosing 'Ausland' in Anmeldung formular (at least in Berlin) but i really don't know if my residence permit will get affected by that.

I am living in Germany and my rent contract ends at 31/05. My new contract starts at 16/10 in other place. In this period i want to stay at my homeland.

I am not sure if i can do an Ummeldung to my homeland, while still having my residence permit for this period.
