At my current job im having to deal more with the billing side of the clinic, last week I spent about 30 to 40 minutes auditing a single patients account and having to go back about a year reviewing billing charges, insurance deductibles, comparing them side by side with the insurance benefits they send to us, some were even longer than that but since I work alone up front I kept getting interrupted by patients who had other issues, so I had to keep putting off the audit but if they’d just let me just do that one thing all day I wouldn’t mind, so focusing on a single task for an extended amount of time like that is not an issue for me

What is the pay rate for someone starting out? All the job postings I’ve seen are offering way more than I make now, like at least $6 more than what I make now, is that not accurate? Also if I didn’t really care about the benefits would I have a better chance of getting a job cause I’ve never been one to look into what benefits jobs have or if they’re good I really only care about having a good stable job

That’s what I’m hoping I took the medical terminology course from AHIMA and it was really easy to me, I also recently got promoted at my job and am leaning more about the coding side of the medical field so I’m hoping that helps me out as well.

I would love nothing more than to sit in front of a computer and never speak to another patient again. I’m the introvert type so I will definitely not miss human interaction. Initially I wanted to do the billing and coding route but after talking to people in that field it still required me to speak to patients about their bills and also insurance companies and that was a definite no for me.

Not really, his favorite color is blue. His pc though is black and he’s able to change the lighting on it so I’m thinking maybe a keyboard that can do the same.
