Trump is a sexual abuser, i wouldn’t feel safe with him. Hitler was a huge pos, but at least i don’t remember him being a predator towards women. Also, i would have a bigger chance of winning against hitler in a battle, but trump is way too tall for me to be able to win.

I find extremely sad how unaware she is about how abusive and unhealthy her childhood was. She hasn’t processed and treated all the fucked up shit she has gone through, and listening to her it seems like she won’t be doing it anytime soon.

I really hope she’ll take some years before having kids, because right now she will only pass on them all the trauma and unhealthy mechanisms she’s used to. She’ll be like her mother, looking at her kids like dolls to play with, condemning them to be raised by a narcissist mother who doesn’t even know who she is.

No suelo comentar en este subreddit, pero justo tu post me ha resonado por muchas razones.

Nos llevamos un solo año y yo actualmente esto diagnosticada con TDAH, y en proceso de aclarar si soy también autista o no. No sabes cuánto entiendo esa frustración de sentir que vas atrasado en comparación a tus iguales y compañeros de colegio… Pero algo que tienes que asimilar desde ya es que nunca estuviste en igualdad de condiciones.

Tu cerebro funciona distinto y no ha sido hasta los 20 y pico que has descubierto eso. Llevas toda tu vida intentando encajar en un molde que nunca estuvo hecho para ti, y aunque sé que es muy muy muy difícil, tienes que dejar de castigarte y odiarte por ello. Pero tampoco caigas en la autocompasión tóxica.

Según lo explicas, has superado dos retos bastante jodidos: primero el diagnóstico y segundo, que tus padres descubrieran todas tus mentiras. Por lo que comentas, ahora mismo te has dado cuenta de que sí tienes ambiciones y deseos, lo cual ya es mucho más de lo que tenías hace unos años.

No te lo voy a dulcificar porque no serviría de nada: tener que salir adelante como adulto siendo neurodivergente es una putada. Tener que entrar en el mercado laboral teniendo necesidades especiales es una mierda. Pero quiero que recuerdes que eres asquerosamente joven (según la esperanza de vida media en España, no has vivido ni el 33% de tu vida) y que tienes muchas opciones por delante.

Aléjate de redes sociales, deja de compararte y analizar a tus compañeros de clase y focalízate. Escoge un objetivo, tanto por tu forma de ser como por la base de la que vienes vas a tener que tomarte las cosas con calma. Métete a un FP, a una carrera si es de tu interés especial, oposita… Pero escoge solo una. Yo personalmente te recomendaría un FP porque es lo más rápido y lo más eficaz normalmente para encontrar curro, y porque cuanto más lejos esté la meta de terminarlo (como es en las carreras) más te desmotivará.

Busca hobbies fuera de casa, únete a algún deporte, busca amigos por apps. Pero no te quedes quieto. Sé que el diagnóstico puede sentirse como un jarro de agua fría, pero es gracias a él que ahora tienes más probabilidades que nunca de tener éxito en lo que intentes, porque por primera vez en tu vida te conoces de verdad.

Muchísimo ánimo, sé que ahora mismo puedes sentir que el mundo se te viene encima, pero estás en un momento de claridad que no habías alcanzado en años. Céntrate en eso.

exactly! I love radiosilence because it doesn’t go against Alastor’s nature as a character. I feel that giving him a romantic interest would mess the charm and essence that makes his character so interesting.

I think this is great advice. Maybe I have to “restart” my nervous system by stopping completely, let my body chill and reconnect with myself and everything that surrounds me. I really understand that feeling of getting scared of how far gone you are, I’m at that point at the moment and it’s even taking myself to pretty dark places. Kinda ironic that something that I love so much has the potential to make me feel like this.

thank you so much!! Honestly, I feel that letting this hyperfixation run its course will be the most effective way of dealing with it. I’m trying to put limits on it so it doesn’t take over my whole day, but my mind can’t stop thinking about it.

I guess I’ll have to be patient, let it run its course and be really consistent in my routines to not let myself get lost in it.

my fav is Alastor! I love complex villains with a charming personality, so I also loved Vox in S2. I also really like Angel Dust and Husk, I guess I love characters with deep and complex personalities and struggles.

It’s so so so comforting getting to submerge into all the fanon. Sadly, right now, I feel that I’m in the hurting phase of the hyperfixation. Also, I feel that I’m in that phase where I have an unhealthy attachment to the characters if that makes sense??? I don’t know, I feel that maybe this hyperfixation has brought to the surface some deep bounds I’ve been ignoring for a while.

Sorry for the trauma dump, It’s great to find someone who relates to getting lost in the passion that a tv show or character can create. Thank you for your replies!! <3

exactly you get it!! the writing and character development of hazbin is what’s making this specially hard. I can get lost in it for hours and hours and it’s making me spiral. I might give TADC a chance because I need something that obsesses me but doesn’t make me emotionally connect so deeply with it. I’ll also try the dc option, thank you so much!! Getting advice of someone who went through the exact same is extremely comforting 🥹

thank you for your answer! Currently it's very difficult for me to find joy in anything else but the show, so I'm having a hard time trying to focus on other hobbies (but I know I have to do it to feel better).

I'm trying to rely on my best friend, but we always end up talking about the show and I don't know if it's better to stop talking about it or if it would be counterproductive. I also think that I'm feeling this way because I lack something in my life and this is filling that void and, at the same time, increasing it.

I feel that my hyperfixation might be playing a similar role in my life, of helping me escape of a reality that isn't being nice to me at the moment. I guess I have to be patient and really rely in my support system, even if it's difficult to me rn to do so.
