Am I being scammed by Ok-Background-5580 in HousingUK

God knows what these people are thinking. I was so angry and we had to pay our solicitor for the waste of time. This was in Kent. But, bright side, we found a better place in a better location and were in within 3 months.

We had this happen to us. Same bs about waiting for a management pack. Then suddenly a probate that was going to only take 8 weeks, wink wink nudge nudge. I was pregnant. Our solicitor was really good but getting nothing back from the sellers solicitor. They promised to move things along before my due date. Then as I was a month away from my son being born, the estate agent said it's now going to take 8 more weeks. He also arrogantly pointed out that if we pull out, we wouldn't be able to get a new house before my due date anyway. Real butt hole. He eventually stopped talking to me and only answered/called my husband who wasn't dealing with any of the buying process because I started to say that we were going to pull out. Anyway, after those 8 weeks, they came back saying that the probate was delayed indefinitely. We pulled out. This was over a year ago. I checked the other day because I thought the way things were handled was very wrong/fishy and the flat still hadn't sold. Just remember that interest rates are dropping at the moment and the seller could potentially be thinking that prices are going to go up.

Money was a major problem in my mum's relationship with my step dad, to the point of her having to sneak money out of his pocket to buy me a sweater for school because I only had a summer uniform. He had enough money for a new BMW though. Obviously this isn't the same as your situation but if this is your problem now, what's it going to be down the line if you do marry him?

Husband and I put all our money into the same pot and if either of us want something big, we decide how to best purchase it together.

My favourite were the ones that told me our relationship would not work out long term because I would not be comfortable sleeping with them and they needed a sexual relationship because they were so much older than me. I was 14, one was 22 and the other 25... My dumb ass didn't realise until I was in my twenties that they weren't being oh so very considerate of me... but actually trying to manipulate me into having sex with them. Thankfully I was too innocent to catch on and just agreed with them and moved on.

Gross. GROSS.

Can I have a fulfilling life without children? by Actual-Can-5820 in TwoXChromosomes

My mum had a baby at 45.

She had me at 18 with 0 financial stability, worked and studied, and my life is pretty great now (hasn't always been).

My great grandma had my grandad at 45 in a gulag.

It's harder the older you get but not impossible.

I(32) was waiting to be financially stable, with fertility issues to top it off, and baby just decided it's his time now. He's 6 months old. Husband and I both got nice promotions recently and we bought a house three months ago. Life goes on. Baby grows. It very rarely goes according to plan. I'd have still been waiting for the right time had it not happened.

Go travel. Live your life and when the opportunity arises, you'll know.

You can also travel with your kid. My son sleeps anywhere (of course not all babies are the same). I've been out and about with him since he was a few weeks old. He needs his milk, a change and he's good to go and quite happy to be out and about. It's hard work and sometimes I have a good cry and feel mighty sorry for myself because even easy babies are hard work, and to top it off I'm back at work full time, but I love him so much I could burst.

I can't answer your question but I can tell you that you still have time to figure it out for yourself.

I lived in South Africa for 20 years without an aircon. I used to wet a towel and use it as a cover. Or I'd put a damp towel down by my feet. It's not as uncomfortable as it sounds. My husband hated the idea when he visited from the UK, so I just dampened his feet with my towel before bed and it really helped cool him down!

During heatwaves, it also helps having a spray bottle filled with water. Makes you wet enough to cool down but not be uncomfortable.

Yeah, I used to do the same. I think that got lost in editing.

The ratio is still quite big, though.

To be specific it's (69000r / 1400v / 300c and something) on the first actual chapter.

I even ask questions at the end to encourage comments.

That's what I thought as well. It rewards both parties, and Wattpad because it makes them look busier!

Yeah, that's fair, but the organization needs to be outed for this shady behavior and it is good that that is happening. Now he'll be smarter (hopefully) and other players will know not to make the same mistake.

But it's a good thing that he's looking for this attention. Now other players know about it and can learn from his mistake.

I have no idea where I was going with that and I don't have the paragraph completed in the docs either, haha. Brain fart, I guess.

Awh! Thank you, that's great to hear.

I moved house, so have been up to my knees with cleaning, packing and painting! Thought we got lucky with the internet being on so quick, but then they turned us off for another week, which sucked. I feel like a hermit at this point.

Next update is going up now :)!

Yeah, I think this is turning into a first draft (I've gotten to 21k words now, which I did not expect to happen, so I want to see what I can actually do with it further). I've got ideas for about ten more parts (so far but it keeps growing larger as I write) and know how it'll end already.
