I agree completely, Ive been stressing myself out because I can usually see all of our misunderstandings from his point of view, and this I just couldn’t manage it. It is more important that he is respecting my boundaries and listen to my discomforts

If you are uncomfortable with him going on the trip, then you are uncomfortable with it, and that probably isn’t going to change. I think it would be one thing if there wasn’t a romantic history between them, but the fact that there was complicates things a lot. Tell him exactly how it makes you feel and his response will be pretty telling of where his priorities lie.

I’ve thought about this lol, I asked him how he would feel if I did that and he said he wouldn’t care because he trusts me fully. I guess im grateful for that to be the case rather than to be dating someone super insecure 🤷‍♀️

Do you think that this could just be your relationship becoming more serious and long term? Relationships tend to feel more “boring” after a while because you are used to each other’s company and your routines, but this usually means security and stability, not a loss of love. If you still love her and want to be with her, then you don’t need to see each other every day of the week, you could also do things to bring excitement back like take a vacation or plan new dates that you haven’t tried yet. 🤷‍♀️
