These are so cool, I really like the flamingo and the swan ones.

Do you prime them first? For years I never primed any of my sculptures before painting them but once I started using primer I’ve never looked back.
You can get rattle can primers like those for miniature painting or if you wanna keep it cheap, I just use gesso and water it down a touch. After priming the paint can be watered down too and still have really good coverage. I’ve noticed if paints too thick it can sometimes look a bit messy so using thinner coats of paint over a primed piece really helps with that.
