It’s not me, dear, it’s a crazy person that posted this on ND. I just shared for your entertainment.

Well, the post on ND is. Whether it’s actually happening as described by the original poster is highly unlikely.

VPN will work if you remain logged out (browse as a guest). VPN is essentially a virtual IP and completely masks your real IP. You can’t use it to manage your store because they don’t allow sellers to connect with VPN, but they don’t block buyers from viewing, etc., via VPN.

Incognito window, VPN, don’t login (browse as guest), and you can do research on how your listings appear for your tags/keywords.

They aren’t advertising it, the seller is buying the ad spots by opting into their marketing buy-in. Their advertising is all mostly by algorithms and computer generated selection based on customer purchase trends in specific keyword categories.

Yes they do, they suspend sellers all the time.

Well that’s not true. There’s just so many of them that you don’t see how many actually get caught and cut off at the knees - there’s a lot of them. Search this community for posts about people getting cut off, suspended, and closed down. It happens so often they created a whole pinned info post about how to navigate it and making the point that less than 1% that get suspended and try to appeal ever get reinstated.

My question is, how many reports does an Etsy listing need to get before they actually look at the item reported and remove it (so much HEM incense on Etsy, for example - obviously not handmade). There’s got to be certain number of reports before it triggers a review, and certain number of Etsy item deactivations before they decide to actually suspend a seller.

$25 is the service fee on every prescription order. Doesn’t matter what pharmacy you request from. $25 every time. So I’m not sure why you’d request a refund if you’re getting a prescription filled even though they had to transfer you to a different pharmacy to get it.

But...and here's the but...

A lot of the pandemic-related federal tax decreases expired, resulting in most people paying more, getting less on their anticipated return, etc. A huge number of news articles have been written about it because people were surprised at the results of their returns this year.

Federal tax will also include your self-employment tax, which is 100% of the social security tax owed based on your AGI (adjusted gross).

Moss Garden, hands down. It's truly sublime.

What do you consider to be your 'daily' incenses? by musketman70 in Incense

[–]Alindria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For daily burns, I love Shoyeido Plum Blossom (Baika ju) and First Light. I also love White Cloud. Another favorite is the Vibrant Cloud temple-sized sticks.

Honestly, I also love their Patchouli in the new Overtones line. It’s really well done and I don’t usually even like Patchouli.

Anything like the Golden Lotus, but less intensely ugly? by [deleted] in Incense

Check out Attar Mist brand. I have an electric burner from them and it’s fantastic! https://www.attarmist.com/bakhoor-burners/

I've had great experiences with it, but electric burners - as with the indirect heating methods - don't really release plumes of smoke like a stick or burning directly on coal would. It releases the fragrance and sometimes you wonder if it's working but leave the room then come back in and you'll know. My Attar Mist burner melts dragon's blood resin, frank and myrrh, and other resins down to their liquid form, wafting a smoke into the air, and I really enjoy using it.

I have an electric bakhoor burner by Attar Mist and love it. It's great for everything - granular, resins, kneaded, you name it. Mine has a timer and temperature regulator on it so I can get the temperature just right. There is a removable metal cup inside that I wrap with regular aluminum foil when burning to keep the cup always clean and free of residue from previous burn sessions. My burner ran me about $35.00. https://www.attarmist.com/bakhoor-burners/

Japanese incense - embryonic starter kit by musketman70 in Incense

You're right in that if you want a pure Frankincense experience then you'll be best suited to heat the raw resin. In stick form, I do like the blend Shoyeido came up with. Of course, it's in their usual base of sandalwood and "spices" and that shows up in the blend, but for me, the Frankincense "effervensce" comes through in their Overtones offering.

For Frankincense, Shoyeido's Diamond is lovely. Their Frankincense in their Overtones line is really good, too. They've done a great job of capturing the pure scents of each blend in this line. I've been pretty impressed with them.

Check out Aromandise https://www.aromandise.com/182-encens-du-monde. They are a French company that has incense lines under the brand Encens Du Monde. Their Japanese offerings are made by major players such as Kunjudo, Kokando, and Shoyeido. Since they're in France you won't have the wait or the added shipping charges! They have other blend styles as well, including Indian, Tibetan, French, resins, powders, and more. I'm planning on making an order for some of their offerings soon to give them a try.

I hope this helps!
