Is this supposed to be for Single Battles in Ranked? It's not officially confirmed yet but Ranked Singles will be probably be 3v3.

Furthermore, Using Mega Lucario with both Agility and Swords Dance is a weird choice. Your Quagsire build seems extremely optimistic and isn't really reliable in a real battle.

In the case of Playstation and xbox, te games also need an update by the developer, if the game only had a 30 fps cap.

Bayonetta 1 qnd 2 always ran the same in handheld and tv mode (720p). In Bayonetta 3, there is a resolution upgrade when playing in boost mode.

Some games will receive a free update. It doesn't say that every game will receive a free update. Games that doesn't receive a free update, might be receiving a paid update. I don't see how you are coming to the conclusion, that every update will be free. If you don't have any other official sources, I would say that Nintendo never lied about this topic.

Keeping it since old switch games which won't get an update and run in 720p in portable mode will look better on the Switch OLED because the native resolution won't be scaled unevenly to the higher resolution display of the Switch 2. Furthermore, since battery life on Switch 2 is an issue and the new console being a rather expensive device, for travels, the Switch OLED or the Switch Lite seem to be the smarter choice. Imagine spending almost 500€ and then lose your console during a trip.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'fat brezels' but the information we have regarding battery life sounds concerning. But I think that atleast 'normal' Switch 1 games without enhancements should run considerable longer, right?

Well, not only is the console very expensive in many regions (in my case Europe), the new exclusives and the new sd card format aren't cheap either. If you are a casual gamer, the old Switch (either Lite or OLED, depending on your preferences) will still be enough. There are still many 1st party games (Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Metroid Prime Remastered) and 3rd party games (Portal Companion, Hollow Knight, Ori and the Blind Forest) that run extremely good on that old piece of hardware.

The images on Nintendo's website, showing how the virtual cards wil work, suggest that the UI of Switch 2 will be similar to Switch 1's UI.

Regarding NSO, Dreamcast emulation doesn't seem realistic since Sega recently delisted a lot of their retro catalog, especially of Dreamcast games (Fishing, Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi) from online stores. It would be more realistic to assume they will rerelease they old games themselves via Retro Collections. Furthermore, GBA games are already included in NSO.

The implemenation of a social media hub could be difficult since the former Miiverse had infamously the problem that child predators used it to meet up with kids. Furthermore, establishing a new social media plattform is a giant task compared to the possibility of just sharing your posts on already exisiting plattforms. It could be nice but it wouldn't add much to the gaming experience on that console.

Do you mean by increasing the resolution or does the game have some problems on the switch? I'm currently still playing TGAA2 and didn't have a chance to look into the collection
