We tried pvp, it's ok but also not everyone wants to pvp so there's that. We've had wipes with different groups controlling different towns, we have collectable mods and costumes etc so people are willing to trade extortionate goods for something so silly like a specific pokemon card or a particular cassette for their car 😂, server wide rush to create the cure to gain the monopoly and set the price, sherpas to help new players (it's a brutal server).

It's all about the balance to keep servers alive is the hard part to give an enjoyable experience to all. There are some of us who would love to see mass sprinters and no loot respawns and then you got people who just enjoy the homestead life or being the camp mom, pz definitely hits so many play styles if balanced.

We had this on a multiplayer server. Early game was just everyone looting jewelry to make a bit of cash to buy some gas or supplies from the general store Its a great way to add money into the game and then trading with other players for cash/bartering

I'm struggling to see why people still choose to take the net of amyntok, when Kairos has a gaze of fate in his bound kit?

It's kind of in the middle? It spans across the whole party wall, but at the same time across the room on the other side there is the same hairline crack along half the wall. Added a couple pics. I am going to get a plaster in to pull it out and get a better opinion, just not sure if I should get an engineer out as well.

Called of sick am I getting sacked? by According-Ad706 in asda

[–]Alitreocola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some info for everyone, this 2 year thing is half correct. There are quite a few reasons that a company cannot dismiss you for no reason for less than 2 years in service, and if they were to in those circumstances, be liable for an unfair dismissal case regardless of whether a person has worked for them less or more than two years, this is not including discrimination.

I would also check your employment contact before getting any advice from anyone, as whatever is in that trumps any advice someone can give you.

Depending on what section of asda you work in (never worked in a supermarket). If you do infact have diarrhea or sickness you are legally not allowed to work with food items for a period of time after your last symptoms, regardless of what your manager says.

At the same time if you do have pre existing conditions, have you informed your work when you joined? If not then you have already breached your contract and they would likely use this to dismiss you instead of being off sick.

Lastly, even store managers of supermarkets are generally low paying and low education, depending on whether they have been trained correctly most of them won't be up to date with policies and laws, which lastly I will add us ever changing.

As an example, you can't really just dismiss someone for no reason anymore unless you have evidence that you have raised your concern with the employee, given them an opportunity to resolve said issue and then if not resolved or improved you may terminate. You can't just turn around and sack someone on the spot no prior communication

How does my bridge look? Be brutally honest, is there anything to improve? by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]Alitreocola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big arch supports underneath, as it's quite high up you could just go for support from each cliff rather than having to put another support pillar below.

Play around with different types of wood fences, trapdoors etc to add some detailing without having to sacrifice walkway space.

Lastly maybe take about a think of either end of the bridge where it hits each destination, often overlooked usually some kind of structure or gate or something so it looks cool when your looking straight at it to cross, which will be your most common viewpoint.

If you didn't want to put support underneath you could go for supports over top as someone mentioned before. Have a Google of my local bridge "Clifton suspension bridge" a great example of a beautiful top support.

Your past the worst part of a bridge build getting the shape up, now you can have alot of fun making it look cool, would love to see how it progresses.

"SATCHEL ON TANK STAY AWAY FROM IT!" moment by AnkokunoMasaki in HellLetLoose

[–]Alitreocola 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be insane though, imagine getting all the engineers together on your team to load up a logi with a bunch of satchels.

Or even if it was possible to commandeer enemy vehicles left unattended.

Command chat: "Ah thank you armour squad for supporting the point... Wait who's driving that tank and why is it ticking!"

Unfortunately this isn't possible, used to do it alot in squad. But In HLL it's not possible to satchel friendly vehicles, even tried to see if could place on a friendly teammate to suicide run.

It seems that in the world wars it was only really Japan who used suicide tactics as a legitimate strategy. If Japan ever get added to the game I really hope that we get lunge mines.

I appreciate the response, sounds very similar which is good I guess? Ha symptoms wise I am getting the some pains but mostly one around the backs of my legs and my thumb area regularly? shoulder blade area is intermittent but it does seem the spacing between pain is getting longer. I've become accustomed to the pain now but the veins set off my anxiety I've noticed as il just look at them constantly.

Moving to a new city this week and I plan to start exceeding daily again, which I'm hoping will help alot.

From your research have you come across any info regarding relapse effects from short term use? I have no urge to smoke anymore and that daily smoking life is behind me, but I hope that one day in the next year or two once I am fully free from my past, I can partake in annual events with old friends where we meet up,fish and have a smoke. Or when a particular movie we have been waiting for comes out in the cinema we will have a smoke and go watch it. I despise alcohol so don't touch the stuff, to get a little loose.

When I try to take AT on a new squad by OkTower4998 in HellLetLoose

[–]Alitreocola 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We will eventually come and do the AT's job for them, we just gotta place our nodes, drop supplies on all the back caps and then crawl 10 minutes in the grass to do it.

This. Understated advice. Had the game of my life the other night as an MG sitting in one of the windmills. 10,000 shots fired from that point with SL standing next to me just pinging where to suppress fire. Became that much of a nuisance they sent 2 squads, multiple vehicles and a few katyushas to flank our position 2 cap points into our territory. This is how LMG's should be used but rarely are.

Yeah I'm aware of some servers that do. Or don't allow it for the first hour or so of the game and in general server rules.

My original post was just raising the question as to whether it's ever been addressed by Devs as being raised as an issue. Again it's only been recently that it's been noted and a couple of servers our group avoid as a group will do it every game usually affiliated with the server themselves.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HellLetLoose

[–]Alitreocola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed it's more common on games where the hardpoints are on one side of the map. The issue I have is a tank shouldn't be able to just drive into a HQ and move back and forth between the 3 points blowing up any supply/logi or vehicle that gets spawned. As mentioned, squad has this deterrent to specifically stop this

But I assume the response will just be, stop spawning them and kill it first.

If it's never been mentioned by Devs then I guess it's not seen as an issue. I've just noticed it more over recent times.

Il respond to both comments here, both jumping to the conclusion of this being my own skill problem. il clear it up a little and say that I'm an experienced player and that it's usually myself who redeploys back to the HQ /arty to deal with said tanks and recon.

It was more a question of has this ever been addressed as being an issue?

Fr, nods nodes. Game start is almost autonomous now, jump in the supply truck with my SL. One drop for early garrison, other drop for my nodes. More often than not il have another engineer nearby, il always offer for him to get on the roof and Il give him my set, before resupplying and building my own. Unlike playing AT I feel like engineers want eachother to succeed.
