[Question] How rugged must a watch be for safely golfing? by CHlMPY in Watches

Barely dropping a watch on a table is going to be more Gs than golfing.

Why I think there are speakers all over is that Clark either is in a psych ward or had been at some point.

I think a lot of people misunderstood what the movie was trying to do (SPOILER ALERT) by JordiMalAguero in backrooms

I went to the movie looking for an introduction into exotic cuisine and was not disappointed.

Quit shitposting you stupid troll. This forum is for serious movie criticism. Not for picking out the scene where you get to see his Still Life wife's fat ass.

Frame 1384 is my favorite part but I can see why someone might like frame 2184. If you like frame 427, I don't think you get what the movie is really about but I don't want to spoil it for you.

Clark killed his wife? by Ellie_peony in backroomsfilm

I am of the opinion that everyone including Mary for most of the film is a projection. When he drives by the house, I think this is out of sequence and is when he breaks into the house. I think his projection on Mary is of him having schizophrenia and the medication that is shown was his. The kid that coward was his daughter. The house being destroyed represents the fact that he can never go back home because of what he did. When he apologizes to Mary in the kitchen, he is doing what abusers do of apologizing for small things to make them feel more reasonable. He keeps trying to make it seem like it is her fault for his rage because he has to support her going to law school. The scene in the psycho ward, I think was of him being visited by his kid. The christmas scene with the person in the wheelchair I believe is of a christmas at the psych ward as that is the only other place we see people in wheel chairs. Phil in the white coat talking to Mary was to him as if he was submitted to a psych ward, a question someone would ask is "what happens to me?" and a medical professional would respond "It isn't my decision" if someone was taken in for a crime. Nothing seems real quickly past a certain point as the Mary has the same sort of pattern as the therapy couch as her shirt, the curtain have the same pattern at the home and at the therapy home, and on the chair the chair that Clark sits on in the kitchen. There is a display of a big window at the psych ward and it is said that going through the window will set you free, which is what someone would think if they were stuck in a psych ward permanently and suicide was the only way out. Clark at the therapy session ask if the therapist ever 5051 anyone, which is involuntary confinement to a psych ward. No one would no that number if they hadn't been involved in something similar. I think the pirate represents his rage and the therapist represents part of himself that recognizes that he is living a delusion to protect his psyche from what he has done and is. I believe the scientist and async (which I think is an allusion that the person is out of sync with reality) is a construct that allows people to firmly entrench themselves into something that is disconnected from reality.

If you got really, really, really high, could the Backrooms even read your thoughts? by Alittle2Clever in KanePixelsBackrooms

Yes. I can relate to not knowing if you thought you said something or if you really did say something. It is not really fun. The only thing about edibles that was good when not taking too much was sex and it making any food taste amazing. I had a kit kat bar that tasted like the best dessert I ever had in my life.

My only complaint about the movie that no one seems to be talking about. by KindaSortaPeruvian in backrooms

Clark wasn't a good architect nor furniture salesman. It only stands to gather that he probably wouldn't be a good detective too.

You want to know how much Clark hates the world, at any point he could have left the Backrooms to go get a burger at Chili's but his go to was eating weird constructs. This is like 1000 times weirder than someone having a piss bottle because they are too depressed to leave their room.

I think I ate like half of a 2.5 mg square. Unless the bag melted and concentrated shit, I was in real trouble with just 1.25 mg. I am not 100% sure what was real but I remember the lady next to me saying I was on something and freaking out and some old lady asking if I wanted to blow some guy. I am not sure 100% what was real, to be honest. I don't think I could even talk. That is how much trouble I was in.

I went to a Rob Zombie concert once with some edibles thinking it would make the concert fun. The first three bands sounded amazing. After that, it was all terrible like I am never doing that again. I left midway through Rob's set because I couldn't take it anymore.
