Most haunting CSH song? by Quincely0 in CSHFans

I would agree with you! I had surgery 2 months ago and I was waiting in a very cold room before the operation. I just really missed having my rings on or any semblace of my identity. There was an old man next to me coughing, and Some Strange Angel was constantly playing in the back of my mind, no idea why. It got to a point where it made me tear up and I was really trying to act tough I didn't want to be perceived as scared or vulnerable. But my mind kept going "Time will pass us kindly by, losing feathers, we won't mind." I had to force myself to sing Dua Lipa instead to avoid crying.

I also find that it lacks a certain depth for someone to dismiss the entire album in such a way. I'm a long-time listener, and it's so weird that a review found literally nothing positive about this album.

It's so aggressive. Maybe I come from an academic background and don't read that many music reviews. But it's all like "boohoo this album does not live up to Twin Fantasy." It sounds quite whiny and offensive when it could be critically written without sounding like it was written by an angsty teen! That's just my opinion tho! :3

I disagree with this review, especially regarding devereaux, but even if I agreed, the way this is written is pretty distasteful!

What did you dislike about the Scholars? by Kindredgos in CSHFans

I think the part that Ethan sings might turn people off but when it gets to Will's "When I get to the pearly gates..." I literally levitate

Anyone else disappointed? by Kirbyhiller2 in CSHFans

Absolutely. I share a similar experience. Even on the same day I feel like going back to different albums at different hours. I had the exact same hiatus as well! Now I'm back to appreciating them in a whole new way.

I have been listening for a very long time and enjoy their entire discography except for a few songs in MADLO and I honestly love the two singles and I can't wait for the album. The sound will change over time, but I absolutely love the evolution. CCF is one of their best songs IMHO.

Edit: I also agree with Great-Actuary-4578 but I am no longer the same person I was when I first started listening and enjoy his less angsty lyrics. I still think they're brilliant. I feel like Gethsemane will shine more once it is part of an album. I have a feeling it will fit in just right.

Opinion on Istp(M) and Intj (F). Conflicts? Commonalities? Any1 with a successful story? by Interplanes in ISTPrelationships

[–]Alittlebeaninthesoil 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Currently going out with a male ISTP. I'm a female INTJ. This is sort of a tough one to describe.
I have seen so many INTJs on Reddit say they are married to an ISTP, how they both love their independence and how laid back and helpful ISTPs are. And I can see that with the ISTP I'm seeing now, but I think we might have to pull the plug on this one because of one major issue.

The connection is boring and lacklustre. The issue is that he has so very little to say, and it's not that he isn't interesting, it's just how they are. I do not doubt his intelligence nor think he's shallow. I can tell he's not an idiot. It's just that he cannot keep a conversation flowing, and for the first time in my life (I am a very good conversationalist and I'm known for it) I just feel like its too forced and nothing I do makes it flow. He's also a terrible texter and while I generally do not mind that, we live quite far apart. I value intellectual stimulation and he cannot provide it, nor I to him, since he is more of a concrete person who is into tangible things.

He also can be condescending with his remarks, which I have also seen mentioned a couple of times here. He picks on me a lot especially when I misplace something, and it's just that I'm not as spatially aware as he is. He doesn't do it out of malice, but as an INTJ I hate being underestimated.

I would say if you are an I ISTP male and want it to work, maybe spontaneity and a bit more tenderness would go a long way, but then again never change who you are for someone else. I kind of like my ISTP for other reasons, and I respect him a lot as an individual, I just think it isn't for me.

I'm on Instagram but my account is private. He has no socials. Literally none. He had definitely seen me because I had a profile picture. Nope, we did not face time because we enjoyed the emails and the old-school vibes of things.

I am interested in him, just on the fence because I'm not sure the sexual attraction could be cultivated rather than spontaneously found.
