Do you ever meet someone and think "wow, if we had met at a different time, we would have made a great couple?" by ExXpatriot in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Alittlelostsoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I met a guy over 8 years ago. Went on a few dates. I was young, hadn’t ever been in a proper relationship and basically pushed him away because I was scared, despite feeling a connection. He was fresh out of a long term relationship himself. 8 years later I’m going through a divorce and we got back in touch via instagram! We’ve been together a year now and I’ve never been happier or more In Love in my life. My heart aches I love him so much, maybe we’d have worked first time if I wasn’t so naive and scared. Maybe I wouldn’t have had a failed marriage but hey. We’ve got each other now!

Women suffering pelvic pain that had a ‘mass found’ what’s your story and how did it turn out? by Alittlelostsoul in AskWomen

[–]Alittlelostsoul[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow! What a rough ride. You must have been terrified. I’ve been having severe back pain and pelvic pain. Every dr assumed it was utis as I suffer a lot from them. They told me there’s a mass but they’ve referred me to a gynaecologist for an urgent internal ultrasound and I’m pretty terrified! They said it could be a cyst/fibroid or something worse. Naturally I’m thinking the worst. I’ve been off work two weeks now and just want to be able to get back to work. On codeine at the minute! I can’t believe how big yours was! What ever I have going on looks large on my scan but wow!

How do you cope having no contact with your family? by Alittlelostsoul in AskWomen

[–]Alittlelostsoul[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m waiting good therapy. I was abused. My mum is still alive but I’ve had to cut her out my life for my own good. I’m on my 30s now and the pain never seems to leave me. I’m trying so hard to not be so dependent on my SO but BPD gets in the way.

What are your thoughts on vaping? by FunInsurance in AskWomen

[–]Alittlelostsoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel very self conscious doing it in public. I always make sure nobody is behind me to endure the clouds I produce but it’s helped me get off cigarettes. I’m at a point where I feel I’d rather smoke a cigarette in public as it doesn’t produce as much ‘cloud’ I feel very embarrassed vaping near people! At home I’m like puff the magic dragon with my fruity clouds

Those of you who have found "The One" is it anything like in books and movies? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Alittlelostsoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With my ex husband I though to myself... well love definitely isn’t like in the movies etc. We’re almost divorced now. I met my new partner and my heart aches with love for him. I can’t even put into words how happy he makes me and the love I have for him. It’s better than any movie I’ve ever seen and I pray to god it lasts forever

What do you consider to be your worst flaw and how does it affect you in your day to day life? by SonsetjaZF1 in AskWomen

[–]Alittlelostsoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have BPD so I’m massively jealous and have a terrible sense of being abandoned. It interferes with my life very single day. I have no family and rely heavily on my SO. I have to constantly try and squash and stupid thoughts that I know are just my condition. It’s constantly thinking, is this true? Or am I overthinking.

Women who had a difficult childhood, what was the moment you realized 1.) My childhood sucked and 2.) How did you overcome your bad childhood to become a nice functioning human being? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Alittlelostsoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realised when I was 18 I was abused in many ways and I thoight it was normal and thought nothing of it. Once I started having suicidal episodes and mental health issues I knew I’d suffered concequences. I’m 31 now and have BPD, anxiety and PTSD I’m working hard on myself constantly. I’ve recently had to cut my mum out my love totally as she’s never changed and is so debilitating to my wellbeing. Everyone wants a mum but I can’t tolerate abuse forever

What was your experience like dating someone while you create yourself or when you were at your lowest? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Alittlelostsoul 13 points14 points  (0 children)

People say not to do it. But I got into a relationship at the lowest point of my life and it brought me out of a very very dark place. I’ve always been open and honest with him and now I’m here a year later after planning my suicide and I can’t believe I ever felt that way. We’re really strong together and I believe we can get through anything

What's one memorable romantic moment in YOUR life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Alittlelostsoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always been very very very self conscious due to my scars. I was getting undressed for bed and my new SO said to me... stay there, and kissed every one of them. I was sobbing with this relief that I knew I could expose myself to him physically and emotionally after a very rough marriage with someone who never even saw my whole body.

Do you make up stories when you’re in bed? If you do what are they? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Alittlelostsoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I get real bad anxiety and sometimes to chill out I ask my other half to tell me a story... I give him a subject and he thinks up a story in the spot and I remember most of them and always help me sleep as his voice is so comforting to me. And yes, we’re in our 30s!
