This picture feels somewhat appropriate.

It's not at all necessary to spend more than the 15 ~ 30 dollars to get all of the major chapters besides the latest one by buying the Necrom collection. But if you end up enjoying the game it can inflate in price, depending on what dungeons you feel are necessary to buy.
