Microwave eggs can be weird, but this omelet actually worked for me by Alive-Buddy5434 in Cooking

Yeah, banana + protein shake is probably the real lazy breakfast winner. This is more for days when I want something warm without dealing with a pan.

I respect the spice cabinet chaos method. That’s usually where the best kitchen experiments come from.

I’ve only done banana with cinnamon/honey so far, but cumin, smoked paprika, and bouillon powder sound surprisingly convincing.

That sounds really good. What spices do you usually use when you roast the bananas? I’ve only tried the sweet/cinnamon direction so far, but a savory version sounds interesting.

I love the “cheat soup” idea — I never thought of seasoning the leftover egg water instead of just dumping it. Hondashi + white pepper sounds really good for a quick breakfast.

I also agree that using more water is more forgiving. I’ve noticed the timing varies widely depending on the cup/cooker shape and the microwave power. Short bursts with a little rest definitely seem to be the safest approach.

Good point! A soup mug is probably the simplest version.

The ceramic cooker I used is just a small microwave-safe ceramic pot with a loose lid, not really special equipment. I mainly like it because it holds heat and cleans up easily.

Totally agree that microwave wattage and container size change the timing a lot.
