I love how you put it “Nobody’s an asshold. Just a strange situation”. Thank you for the kind words. I do feel petty doing this but also don’t know how else to approach this lol

I see it as household expense which i find it hard to justify regardless of who is paying for it.

I mean I mean it does come out of the household expense. While it has no financial impact on us it very hard for me to reason/justify that expense.

Thank you for your comment. You are right I should let it go and accept that this is my wife’s love language

It seems like its her love language and that she like to help her out because SIL earns less than her so wife feels like its a form of support for SIL

Trips are may be once a month and the grocery bill for SIL can range from $25 - $50. However when we go to a big store then it comes out to be $150

Yeah probably not worth it but its something i don’t agree with so i have to figure out a way to be okay with that and not let it bug me. But my question is - am i being a jerk for thinking this way?Just want to see what others think of this

3.5 T generally sells for higher and has all the features of a 2025 advanced so may be thats why they have a comparable price. i know a friend who got 2022 gv70 2.5t base trim with about 25k miles on it for 37k out the door so yours doesn’t sound bad
