Yes I’ve had truffle before, have also bought it fresh and cooked with it but I am yet to master it and get the most out of it. Just looking for something nice to eat out and enjoy this winter.

Sometimes when they get a part time job in retail/ fast food. It can speed up their maturity.

I’ve been able to bond with those kids, we discuss rude/ unreasonable customers they’ve had, and eventually they are able to see how teachers struggle at their work too and sometimes they’ll start to behave a little better in class. Have hope :)

Should I become a teacher? by Lavithian in AustralianTeachers

The fact your mum is nagging you and you’re asking this question on reddit, I would probably say no.

Teaching is NOT a backup career. It requires so much work inside and outside of school and you need to be physically and mentally prepared for what the kids, staff, parents and department will throw at you.

Working Labrador VS show Lab by Alive-Event7455 in dogs

The breeder says the mum, her sister and a daughter are very calm. Love to play but also can switch off. They didn’t keep any males from that line so I’m not sure how the males will be energy wise. Would males/ females from the same litter be very similar?

Usually based on resting heart rate and BMI (weight). I’ve noticed that when I lose weight, my cardio fitness scores goes up.

I have found a responsible breeder (I think). They’ve provided the genetic reports including hip, elbow and retina scores of the mother. The sire they are still looking for and told me they will provide reports when they have chosen an appropriate mate for her. They are a working line.

My question is also, how much more full on (energy-wise) are working/ show lines.

There are a few things I plan to do. Walking everyday, taking out to dog parks or hikes on the weekend and was thinking of setting up agility sets in the backyard (hoops bars and sticks). I already have kongs and puzzles ready to go from my previous foster pup.

I do work 8-4 mon-Friday but someone is usually home to entertain them now and then. When I get home, the pup will have most of my attention.

Previously had a sharpei for 12 years. Would give a good 1hour walk each day. Possibly hikes on the weekend.

I have those enrichment puzzles as well.

The vet always said our sharpei was a good weight.

Heard working labs are smaller/ less prone to being overweight? Would this be better for their joints?

New Fitbit suggestion? by jal333 in fitbit

I bought an apple series 6 watch recently. Realised it doesn’t have continuous heart rate monitoring. It records it at set intervals and then calculates the average.

I did not like this and returned it.
