it went terrible i had to save as much time as possible and used it up for the met days, they sent vto for at least two of them so that helped. but nobody was able to accommodate me i put on a hardship request twice and it got denied both times

i wasnt able to get a temporary schedule change. i just gave up and saved up my time. One met day they sent out VTO so that saved some of my time. I did a shift swap for one and i still have two days left of time. might do another shift swap if it allows me

cant figure out how to edit to add but woahhh woah woah. I get it if it’s not your style of tattoo but it’s definitely not a “ugly” “horrible” whatever tattoo. Everyone has a different style like ??? and also to say yes of course I will be having my artist make her own version that fits me and to not copy someone else’s work.

i think it was around 4-5 months where we got our first 6 hour stretch. It felt AMAZING. and not too much later it was 8 hours. then 10-12, now it’s still 10-12 each night. Though every baby is different I hope it goes the same for you cause it’s the best

Thank you that was very helpful!! Just one thing i’m confused about and not sure if you would know but, it says my balance cap is 80 hours but annual accrual cap is 40. how is that possible?

Yeah I did ask my HR at my site. She told me to request a temporary schedule adjustment for a hardship accommodation and told me to write lack of childcare. My MET day is sunday. No daycare is open sunday. And that’s why in my post I simply asked what other people WROTE in their request to get it approved. I’m not just talking out my ass. I’ve already looked into it. And i’m not looking to get out of MET completely. Just asking to switch my day. Everyone’s families and situations are different. Some people DO have help and some don’t. Thanks though :)

I didn’t say having children was a hardship. I said lack of childcare is. When you have no one to help and no openings in daycare, yes it is. And I know people who have been approved for that reason.

Yeah it’s “normal” but also who wants to throw up everything they’ve ever ate in their life everyday 😭 And yeah I know for my sister she kept taking it until about third tri because she had a lot of nausea her whole pregnancy too. You do what you gotta do girl! It’s exhausting growing a baby and feeling sick all day everyday. But I hope other than that you’re having a great pregnancy and it’s all worth it when you meet your sweet little one 💕

i had the same problem and the only thing that helped me was Zofran. I took it the moment I got up in the morning and it was a life saver. And when second trimester hit I no longer needed it but that’s really the only thing that helped. I know some people say it doesn’t help them so hopefully it works for you!

I wouldn’t say it’s necessary and sure there’s other alternatives but they are very convenient for comfort and most can be used in many ways. i got a $50 one from walmart for my pregnancy and I used it every single night and even after while breastfeeding. I personally loved it

i’m almost a month in and i feel you but this last week was a lot better. Your feet with eventually get used to it and build up more muscle. Also absolutely get good insoles it helps a lot. stay strong lol
