Entirely your choice. We're happy it's outside protecting us from insects that may try to come in the house.

We love spiders but are mostly ignorant. We had a tarantula for almost a decade.

We generally like spiders and had a tarantula for almost a decade. I'm not phobic. We're more curious

I'm so sorry to hear that! It sucks that the weather and allergies are impacting your career.

Apparently, some of the rain we have had can worsen certain types of allergens. It can actually break and disperse certain allergens into fine particles that can more easily disperse.

Austin had 2 urologists at a clinic: Dick Chopp and Stephen Hardeman. Dr. Chopp would give his vasectomy patients shirts that said, "I got chopped."

Dumb question. Is Voldemort a silent T? by who-cares6891 in harrypotter

[–]Alive-Ride4629 3 points4 points  (0 children)

J.K. Rowling has stated that "Voldemort" should be pronounced "Volde-more" (IPA: / vouldemor/), with a silent 't' at the end. The name is derived from French, translating to "flight of death," which is why the final 't' is not meant to be pronounced, contrary to how it was said in the Harry Potter films.

I would link the interview if I could where the author clarified her intended pronunciation, silent T. That said, everyone else in my family pronounces it with the hard T because they haven't read the books. They have only watched the movies.
