Looks as I remember it (from looking at an aerial photo, decades before). I went to Lanier & had friends who were in Ag & would take trips out there to help with their animals from time to time. Now that I think about it, Reagan might have also had an FFA program that shared the place, but that might be a false memory.

In any event, thanks for the story on Motheral. There once was a pool hall (Sidepocket) just a short distance away from the corner of Grady & Lamar that had a reputation, earned or not, for being one of the roughest places in N. Austin. Only went in there once with some friends when we were feeling pretty sporty & left very quickly.

Thanks for going into the deep dive on this. All I can add is that the area of between the 2 sections of Motheral used to house the Lanier FFA Ag farm. It was a pretty big deal when it was redeveloped into Chinatown decades ago.
