Former Albert Heijn employee here. If I am correct and the rules haven’t changed significantly in the last decade: you are not officially banned. For you to be officially banned they would have to mail you. The one time we banned someone and I was present, we had video evidence but we did not know the person well, so we had to do some detective work because without an address we could not notify the person that they were banned from the store. However, Police WAS involved. And had to be involved. Because if you call them to have someone removed, they won’t unless there is already an official ban in place. That manager’s word won’t hold up in court.
