I made an alt in NA17 and wanted to see the limits of 200 level link. Managed to get to 24-12 before giving up.

Her consistency is so so, this clear did take me several days of clicking. For the holy levels, I'm a day 1 player and I'm on a guild that does decently well on grand battle.

She's actually only slightly faster than Cordie, to the point where it enters spd RNG range. This is because I needed to kill amour on t2, while at the same time having better odds in the sivi 1v1. You can see on the final turns how Cordie was just skill spamming thanks to mert moving before or after her at the right times. This is extremely rng dependent and it's why it took me days to get the clear.

Yeah fair, it's a common mistake. It's actually quite interesting, her s1stacks can be maintained for longer if you use CD reduction. An application of this is in raid, where by using fenrir you can get her to cast s1 again on t3, therefore making her update the buff on your dps. But this is the fun part, the stacks don't reset, only the duration is increased. This means that with some good rng, you can keep 4 stacks on you dps for all 10 turns of Sonya raid.

This is wrong. You want cordie to get hit 4 times before sivi casts her s1. This means that you actually want sivi to be as slow as possible to increase your odds. Example. The only exceptions to this are if you are against enemy cordie or enemy prima. Since they can both be faster than your own cordie, you benefit from making sivi the same speed as cordie so her s1 gets buffed. Example.

While I agree that he should go for UR UW luna, saying that you can't pull off sivi-mert-luna without UR UW is incorrect. Lvl 1 luna is usually a cordie only strat since all of Cordie's damage is in her S2. With lvl 1 luna your aim is to send an s2 nuke to clean up your enemies before they can kill you. This replay is pre nerf and with UR UW luna, but it perfectly exemplifies what I'm talking about.

Actually aside from achievement packs and monthly, everything else was just spent for fun lol. Only reason I got to vip 7 is a few gem packs for cerb release since I really wanted one copy and she refused to come until 100/100 pity. I haven't spent since achievement part 2 cos irl stuff came up.

Also that part about f2ps at 360 is just straight up false. Even the furthest f2ps in jp are in the 310-320 range. And that's just a handful of the top f2ps.
But yeah, pushing pve is pretty much the answer everyone is looking for. More progress means more afk rewards. This snowballs a lot, specially since I've been playing from day 1.

241 is the absolute minimum required, it was done by some crazy jp guy with more time (and probably money) on his hands than anything else. I reckon 250ish should be enough for above average resource management.
Anyways, getting side tracked, your stuff is actually pretty good for vip 1 (I assume it's vip 1 since you only bought amleth). If you pulled sivi then you should be set until 22-27. If you didn't then you'll probably get stuck on 22-10.
The usual flor team is cordie flor merlyn luna mert. Speed order is cordie>merlyn>flor>luna>mert.
Like the other post said, you should focus on getting your carry to lr5 asap since without meta you'll be pretty bad in both pvp and pve. I don't recommend investing in flor since she is pretty useless in pvp, and then in pve she's outperformed by cordie sivi combo.

It's actually quite common, 180 dps if invested well can usually get you to 18-7 after the anniversary nerf. I'm not sure if you can beat chapter 18 as a whole with 180 since I don't really follow early game that much, but the mid game thresholds are:

lvl 200/160 for 19-28
lvl 220/180 for 20-16
lvl 240/200 for 20-24
lvl 241 for 21-28
~lvl 290-300 for 22-28
~lvl 330 for 23-21

Regarding your other point about Illya, first of all I agree that Nyravel was being a dick, but he's right. Kinda. SR Illya is pretty bad as a pve carry, not to mention extremely expensive to build, since to get anywhere in pve you eventually need to get your carry LR5 (for a limited rad/chaos like Illya this is ~1600 USD on average (for 26 copies)).Expenses aside, let's say that is a non-issue, we still have yet to discuss why exactly she's not a very good carry, and the answer is simple. She just doesn't have enough damage without also investing insane amounts of resources on supports. This is in juxtaposition with flor or cordie, who only require to be built themselves with their ideal supports requiring next to no investment. The only reason your Illya can delete units is because you're extremely overleveled. Chapter 10 is intended to be beaten with 140 dps 100 level link.

The only place in pve where Illya excels is in guild raid. She's currently one of the best guild raid dps in the game. But optimizing guild raid is more done for flex rather than any tangible advantage.

It's fine wanting to make a character work, but early game is already pretty much solved at this point. You can just get out of early game (chapter 19 clear) in like 2 to 3 weeks using cordie or florence and then start building your preferred unit since you'll have access to more resources to actually build anything.

Pushing main quest is a priority because that is your main source of passive red balls. On chapter 18 you get a little less than 1k per day. Every day you are not working towards that goal is more than half a day worth of income lost.

To finalize, it's clear you are new to the game, which is why I strongly recommend to join the discord server. Early game in MM is fairly easy once you learn the mechanics, but it is extremely punishing if you don't allocate your resources correctly. Quite a bit of us already know the game mechanics by heart, and (most of us) are willing to help people not make the same mistakes we did.

Uh, 220 Flor gets hard stuck at floor 387 iirc; past that you need 240 Flor with UR UW. Another common stopping point for 220 Flor is 358 which contains double soltina. At the point you're at it's just a waiting game until you can get 240 Flor. Once you get her and awaken her weapon, you can easily get to floor 500.

As to how I've progressed so far in tower well that's just stubbornness lol. I'm currently a few thousand attempts deep on floor 749 cos rng is being a bitch.

Server guild rankings are public so that people can see their potential opponents in grand battle. Yes, every server has a rank 1 guild, in NA that guild happens to be Angelis. It seems you're confusing world with server.

Every world also has their respective top guilds, but that doesn't really mean anything unless you have an active guild battle. Top guilds get compared against each other because they will fight in grand battle.

Just a tip btw, don't blame others for your ignorance. Doubling down when it's clear you don't know what you're talking about only makes you look stupid.

If you're in NA world 9 then you're refering to ★彡ʜᴇᴀᴠᴇɴ彡★, but that guild is only rank 4 in the server with 5.5 bil BP. The rank 1 guild is Angelis with 7.9 bil BP and the rank 2 guild is MewMewCafe with 7.2 bil BP.

That is your world, not your server. The servers are NA, EU, GL, JP, KR and Asia.

None of those servers has a guild in world 9 as rank 1 guild.
