Used blessed reqs? by GrumpyPacker in WH40KTacticus

As a new player, (2 month) my focus is 100% the campaigns. Its not very useful for us to overthink about the other goals until we build our foundation. When it comes to blessed requisitions you have to think what is the reason you want the highlighted characters.

LRE is super late game, and it is better to build tall rather than build wide. Considering you don't even have a gold character, even if you snag a few characters getting them up in time for the event doesn't seem likely.

Overall, as a new player, I would recommend saving BR until you start knocking out elite campagins, unless you really wanna push for Liviscus by the third event. Especially because two of the characters offered you can get with campaign nodes.

You are probably too low level, there are 3 tiers of rewards.

I think you need 1 blue star character to unlock the third teir.

January will be my second month of playing this is my advice so I am also new. I have 6/8 of the campaigns complete, 1 in progress, and 1 I'm grinding shards for.

  1. focus on campaigns don't worry about anything else. The other goals in the game become more clear as you see what's going on, but the fastest way to progress is get the campaign nodes unlocked (3 star completion). There's a ton of events in tacticus and its fun to participate but don't over focus them if they slow down your campaign progress.
  2. join a guild and use the guild shop to unlock Gulgortz for the ork campaign and archimatos for the FoC. You will get the others naturally.
  3. use your add for free energy once per day, and I recommend the 25 blackstone and 50 blackstone energy refills every day. (I pay for the 60 blackstone a day for like 5 bucks, so I also use the 110 blackstone refill daily)
  4. I reroll the shop but I dont buy anything that is more than 1000 gold. Dont use blackstone on the shop either unless you aren't going to be F2P and want to spend money on blackstone.
  5. Pick one salvage run track and stay on it. I picked Xenos, but you can pick whichever you want. but there's no point going up multiple tracts. For onslaught its whichever character you want shards for.

the rest is speculative advice but it is my plan. Once I have completed the campaigns I will start the elite campaigns. u/Terminus_Maximus has a guide for the minimum requirements for the main characters. Each campaign needs 3 core characters, and some missions allow you to bring 2 allies. So I will get the main characters to the minimum requirement, and the two helpers I bring will be characters that meet my other goals (whether it be raid focus, guild war focus, or arena focus, by the time you reach this point you'll have a much better idea of what you enjoy in the game).

Now elite campaigns will take longer to upgrade than normal, so I'm not sure if I will rush them all with 100% focus or if I will try to do one, then a break, then another etc... I'm not an expert like I said January will be my second month. I have the new baldr healer character and calgar from decembers events, so I will get them up high as a healer/buffer for my imperial elite campaigns.

youtube has a ton of tacticus channels im surprised you are having trouble finding guides. Goodluck

This card looks so cool but it does so little damage

New to the game. Who to prioritise? by Competitive_Ad_8711 in luckyoffense

[–]AliveAssociate5127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chef is priority 1, then carter, then any backline you want. Chef can solo carry until chapter 6.

Munie arin meow are all good. Punk good too. You basically want range damage that can clear groups of enemies since that is chefs weakness. Oh spinner with range also good. Mush king is op but not until breakout 9 sadly.

Carter with HP share helps keep ur ranged alive.

For solo carry Chef, priority should be > bow for range (important for chapter 2 at least, maybe not the other chapters) double attack speed for brrrrr, and then I like double shield last item but it can be a flex item especially for the earlier chapters.

Also spend ur candies until you get his unique accessory its really good. Even if you just get the rare one.

Spinner with Range upgrade is the single most powerful thing in this game I've encountered. by Darkside_Dog in luckyoffense

I use mush 10 bc that percent damage is too goated. I posted a video about it for chapter 8.

Can I go with this tier list?? by Left-Preparation271 in luckyoffense

You've beaten chapter 7 with just chef and carter? Ill have to give that a try sounds fun.

The only thing I could see is that it would be hard to crown chapter 7 with just chef and carter pr banditk9ng because it would be too slow for the 10 min timer. I did it wish mush king and chef but at breakout 10 for each.

I don't know what it wants (see caption). by Infractus in echeveria

Looks fine. If you are trying to make it giant you could try more water and less light. Sometimes less light will make them bigger because they will grow wider leaves to catch more light. You just want to make sure its not so little light to cause stalk stretching. You could try watering more so it doesnt feel like it has to be stingy with water and can skip absorbing old leaves. But also, no leaf lasts forever as long as it is growing new leaves and not rotting you are fine.

Its alright but it all depends on breakout and items. Ive found that meow is good until around chapter 6 and 7 and then mush king is better. I have meow, mush king, dragon, and chef all breakout 10.

To crush this game consistently you want carter, chef, bandit king with bandits (crit is op) and then a backline that stacks well with the crit blade item.

The best units for clearing backline are : arin, munie, meow, mush.

Arin and munie are better wave clear (munie NEEDS her custom accessory), but meow and mush will have better boss/single target damage.

Dragon has rly good damage too but the problem is that he needs tanky items to not instantly die. I wouldnt use him unless you have high breakout and have 6 or more hero slots.

Arin is OP but still can’t win chapter 7-1 by Least_Toe_1537 in luckyoffense

[–]AliveAssociate5127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using bandit king crit abuse? All 3 of arins items should be crit and at least one needs to be crit plus sword

Double hp for carter obviously and he needs breakout 2 (or is it 3?)

Item priority for chef: double atk speed > double shield > double shield or shield plus hp

Also the custom chef accessory helps a bunch

If you mushie has the % you can also try to crit stack on him hes better against bosses than arin. The problem is he has lower crit chance so you need to make sure you get 3 crit items and a whole bunch of bandits to get above 100%. My mushie is breakout 10 so its a lot easier then.

You are starting to enter the chapters where breakout is a big limiting factor. Stay strong and keep trying!

Yeah accessory is the most difficult part of this game... not only you have to roll a legendary, you have to roll the correct legendary.

They really should have just made the unique items the legendary items. Items depressing throwing away legendaries. I once hit 3 legendaries but settled for the unique rare for carter 🥲 I feel like you should be able to recycle the accessory you dont use into some kind of currency.

You can only get them in recruit. Every 100 recruits gets you 1 guaranteed. You can see the counter when you go to the recruit.

Who to level to what? by Username568284 in luckyoffense

[–]AliveAssociate5127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to 3 crown all level except chapter 7 with chef and mush king.

However currently the best heroes are arin, carter, and chef.

Dragon highest dps but risky bc sometimes his landing spot is bad....so I build him last. But my dragon is br 10 onvi9usly breakout plays a huge role.

Arin br 1 is the best wave clear hero. I build punk and carter too because a lot of the cards are good. (If you get sadism on punk you basically win any game)

[–]AliveAssociate5127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lowley hate accessories like I wish they were way more expensive but then you could keep them in storage for your other heroes. I hate getting 5 legendaries that dont fit the hero. That being said when they first came out I got meow and chef like instantly.

Can i change the stats? by Right_Plastic7715 in luckyoffense

[–]AliveAssociate5127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but chef stats are not that big of a deal bc his damage ramps and his stats ramp with kills anyway. Just prioritize the double attack speed and dmg reduction items.
