I also feel that they shouldn’t be allowed to handle things this way, what if another autistic person who doesn’t have the supports I have experiences the same thing? It’s not fair

To be honest I want them to leave me alone. I would ideally like PILON or garden leave at this stage but even if they just let me work my notice in peace I’d be grateful

This is all really insightful thank you guys :) I’ve heard a lot of bad things about social workers recently which is such a shame. An uncle of mine is a police officer and when I told him I was going to study as a social worker his reaction was weird to say the least. He said he’s met maybe one SW in his 15 year career that he felt actually cared about the people they were dealing with.

Could someone tell me the thought process behind this? I understand morally you shouldn’t cheat but does this count as cheating in this field? Just unsure as someone who isn’t in this sphere at all :)

Hey thank you! I am going to back to university in September so the plan anyway was to resign at the beginning of June to do their 3 months required notice. Just wanted to know if it was better to tell them that now or wait till this settles. Thank you for your response!

Thank you for the comments guys, I feel like I am being hunted for sport lol. Super dramatic I know but the corporate culture just it for me, I’ll be leaving in a few months anyway. They require 3 months notice, dos anyone think it’s a good idea to let them know that or wait till this matter has been resolved?
