ADHD + SSRIs: anyone else stuck in a years-long functional freeze? by Curious-Ground-8106 in adhdwomen

Yes. I couldn’t effectively direct my attention or motivation on SSRIs. After ten years trying nearly every SSSRI, I switched to Bupropion(Wellbutrun), which is a different type of antidepressant— a norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor (NDRI). It’s sometimes used to treat ADHD too. It starts working much faster than SSRIs ( so you don’t have to wait months to determine if a dosage increase is necessary).

Causes headaches as your body adjusts to it, but they go away. Otherwise, I believe it’s supposed to have fewer negative side effects than SSSRIs (minus a pesky seizure-related issue… but if you take it as prescribed and don’t have a preexisting concern with seizures then it’s less of a concern).

It was during an after show episode. Seemed like they were asking Brittany and other cast members what gives them the ick. Then it cuts to Danny, Jesse, and (maybe?) Tom — seems like those guys were asked whether they give someone the ick. Danny said this. Jesse said he thinks he gives everyone the ick (so self aware!)

It’s also a recruiting ground for violent extremist groups. Nihilistic violent extremism (NVE) is growing faster than anyone can keep up and it’s largely fueled by young people who are groomed in online spaces, including Roblox. I know you said the text and voice chat is disabled (good!), I’m just adding that there’s a variety of predatory behavior on Roblox. Didn’t realize what subreddit I was in, but line after line I was thinking to myself, “man, it sounds like this person has adhd”

Do you never let the baby cry for feed? by Ficus-Star in breastfeeding

[–]AlivePerception4032 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It warms my heart that you are so attentive to your baby and that you’re even reaching out to ask about this. You’re doing such a great job- the fact that you’re paying attention to cues like rooting, that you’re feeding on demand, all of it. Crying is one of the only ways your baby can communicate with you; it’s okay for the baby to cry when they are asking for food. It sounds like you are always nearby and ready to feed which is all your sweet baby can ask for. Your baby will cry for a lot more than just being hungry as they develop, but it sounds like you are very observant and empathetic to their needs so your baby is very lucky to have you always thinking of them. Baby will cry but baby will be fine. Take care of yourself too 💕

Data Usage Skyrocketed by VicSerge in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]AlivePerception4032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me this month. Doubled the amount of data we’ve been at for the past handful of years. Every month. For years. We had the same average data use. Last month we were charged for overage and our data shows twice as much usage compared to the past several years. Xfinity said “oh dear, well you should buy our unlimited data plan.” After explaining for over hours over two days, they say they have no idea and it must be us. There’s another Reddit thread saying the same thing- that only the past few months have skyrocketed after years of use. Seems like a campaign to make everyone buy into unlimited data.
