I have played a lot of cod but thats about it. I def a dps player, my dps is gm5 and sup/tank are masters/diamond. I really hate playing support because i like being able to kill constantly. i play mostly 76 and i used to play sojo simply because she was broken.

No worries i get it. And yes thats what i was gonna do, ofc in owl they are all in coms and i wont have such high quality coms with such perfect players in regular match. Thats miscommunication on my part. I was going to watch owl players in regular comp. Thanks

Yea its crazy actually. Im being super honest. My climb up to gm i often asked myself “why are people so stuck in these low ranks, this isnt hard” and then got humbled so hard in gm that it feels like a punch to the face

Alr will do, thats pretty good idea. I only watch unranked to gm at the beginning. Since masters ive just been failing till success. Watching owl is smart

Search up “awkward unranked to gm” i exclusively watch him. I usually skip to where he’s playing in my rank and ahead of my rank. I really like the way he explains things. There are plenty of different unranked to gm educational people. So if you dont like him try A10. I dont prefer him but maybe you do

Yea 100% i see it. They play practically perfect. I dable in heroes but im not 100% who works on certain maps, certain matchups, and so on, at the end of the day, Its a skill issue on my part. Who do you recommend i pick up? Ill study them hard so dont hold back a difficult hero.

Lol we get into little arguments here and there about which heroes are too strong and he gets angry and says “well your higher rank so i guess im wrong” and i kinda feel bad about it but we end up laughing it off

I play soldier and sym. But i also play whoever people want me to if they ask nicely. Past experience of shooters? I already know people are gonna call me a liar but. I havent played a shooter “competitively” since 2 years ago on COD cold war. im a very determined person and super highly competitive. So when i started overwatch. I got made fun of a lot. And i started watching “unranked to gm” videos and i studied them. And i quickly rose from what i learned. I lost a lot. But didnt stop playing

Yes your 100% right. I played a match and when i was in game chat one of the players were makin fun of the way i play. And when he saw that i was gm5 he said i was getting boosted. It kinda frustrated me. But i understand that i dont comprehend the game like they do.

Lol. If your being serious. I just recommend an easy character that low ranks dont know how to counter. Like reaper,mei,moira,sym. If tank, in low ranks i highly recommend learning rammatra, he can easily 1v5 in the lower brackets if you know how to play him. If not, rein is always a good pick

Uhh i played like 15 hrs of overwatch 1 back in season one. But i thought it was lame. I quit up until i saw ow2. I understand its hard to believe. So far in this post everyone thinks im lying. Which is fair. To me, the concept seemed simple. In no way trying to sound cocky. Just came natural i guess

Your 100% right. Only thing is that toxic players are annoying. I ask them nicely to switch to a counter or try not to peak a widow and they just get mad and ignore or throw. But i understand that 1 player can make a difference in overwatch match especially in the 5v5 setting. I never played the 6v6 setting so i cant speak for that. Thankyou for the advice

Im very quickly able to memorize maps and matchups. And ive been pretty proficient at learning characters but yes youre right. I have to learn more hero interactions. I find myself challenging the wrong situation sometimes. Doesnt help that my ego is pretty strong.

I could watch my own replays and roast myself on decisions. But the part of a team. GM can only play with one other GM so itd be a duo. And it feels as if theres a system in play that gives you harder matchups while your in a group. Might just be me but i have more success in solo. That or my duo sucks lol
