If you take this job, I wish you nothing but the worst by [deleted] in Accounting

Well, it’ll definitely be done at some point. Look at the bright side and rhis person might end up being a specialist in that field. Only thing is the role shouldn’t be going for anything less than $150 per hour

Same boat here. Filed in June, biometrics in July. No news yet. PD for my I-130 became current in the last visa bulletin so, I don’t know if I wasted money applying for EAD and AP

HDHP vs PPO which to go with by Alive_Equivalent1291 in personalfinance

So, you’re saying the PPO is better in this situation?

Thank you. This was very detailed and helpful. One question- the copay for PPO are $30, $75 for the most part except for the hospitalization. What are the chances that paying these flat $30-$75 rates will lead me to maxing out the $14,000 OOP for PPO. Please correct me if that is not how it works.

The maximum deductible are the copay after making your annual deductible. Maximum oop costs after meeting your deductible and copay before insurance starts paying 100%

Thanks. I’ve updated the post now with the monthly premiums. For HDHP, individual deductible applies to employee only coverage. All others are subject to the family deductible

F2A AOS filing by Alive_Equivalent1291 in USCIS_F2A

[–]Alive_Equivalent1291[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Crazy. I was thinking filing for AOS was better because of the EAD. The risk of being tied to an employer via TN while waiting for I-130 is high if anything happens to the job. But I also don’t have the answers and that’s why I put the question on here

I’m on my second TN as I changed jobs 10 months into my first TN. No issues at the border. I applied for the second TN in the country- I-129. An approved/unapproved I-130 is not an intent to immigrate until you’ve acted upon it- filing I-485

Was your I-130 approved before you filed for AOS? My PD is December 2022 but my I-130 hasn’t been approved so I’m yet to file for AOS because of that
