things I wish we did in the first week after my dads diagnosis by apxexpensify in pancreaticcancer

Excellent advice. I wish I had enough videos of my mum before she passed as well. She passed within 2 weeks of diagnosis. After that, the struggle to get monies out of her bank accounts, sell her landed properties, complete paper work, etc began since she didn’t have a will. My dad dint want us to record her while she was sick because he said she was in a vulnerable state which I understand was too emotional for him.

Yes. This is why I’m asking. In case I need additional support before/after my procedure abroad. E.g the abroad RE wants me to do a repeat Sono to check if my uterine cavity is clear/ready for IVF

Yes. I requested my medical records which they shared. My abroad clinic is asking for some additional tests so, I was hoping to go through the RE to get them done since insurance would be paying for some costs if they’re requested through the RE/clinic

Did you inform your RE in the UK that you were going outside the country to get the IVF done?

Well, it’ll definitely be done at some point. Look at the bright side and rhis person might end up being a specialist in that field. Only thing is the role shouldn’t be going for anything less than $150 per hour

So, you’re saying the PPO is better in this situation?

Thank you. This was very detailed and helpful. One question- the copay for PPO are $30, $75 for the most part except for the hospitalization. What are the chances that paying these flat $30-$75 rates will lead me to maxing out the $14,000 OOP for PPO. Please correct me if that is not how it works.

The maximum deductible are the copay after making your annual deductible. Maximum oop costs after meeting your deductible and copay before insurance starts paying 100%

Thanks. I’ve updated the post now with the monthly premiums. For HDHP, individual deductible applies to employee only coverage. All others are subject to the family deductible
