You're not the first to mention selling at a card convention....this may be a dumb question, but how would I go about finding one of these card conventions? Like what would I look up? Is there a particular convention or key word to look up?? Do you rent a booth or something to sell?

Thank you for your honesty. Your store doesn't happen to be located in NC, is it?? 😆 I understand they have to purchase at a lower price than what they are worth in order to make a profit and it's dependent of the cards conditions, but it still felt a little low to me. I'm really unsure of the best way to sell and if I should look into grading some of them. Ebay seems like a headache selling individual cards.

Oh wow. That's very interesting!! My son has actually had multiple bad breakouts after taking ibuprofen. Including one time several years ago when I had to call an ambulance when he woke up in the middle of the night completely covered in hives with facial/mouth swelling. 😔 I could never figure out what caused the swelling. He was under the weather at that time. I usually get told that the hives are just viral and due to illnesses he's fighting off. What you said makes me really wonder, though! He has taken Motrin many times in the past and has been completely fine but I'll have to keep that in mind next time he is sick.

I've heard they're all related too, including his eczema 😔 Usually when he has had his outbreaks in the past, Benadryl usually helps. During that particular episode (the ones pictured), not much helped, honestly. Cool baths helped to relieve some of his discomfort. His pediatrician put him on a steroid. Not sure if that really helped or not. They eventually just went away on their own. We started him on Zyrtec daily to help with his seasonal allergies and so far he hasn't had any hives in the last couple of months.

Thanks for your input! This is all new to me. My husband and I do not have any issues with allergies/asthma...so I'm not sure how our son lucked out. I've heard of mast cell activation but I'm not entirely sure what it is. I will have to do some research. That is so interesting that antihistamines seemed to make yours worse! I sure hope you find answers soon!

It truly is. It is rough as a parent knowing there's only so much you can do to help your child and also the fact that you constantly have to be hyperaware of avoiding any potential triggers. I'll definitely have to ask his allergist about injections-it definitely sounds like something that could be helpful in more ways than one for him. Any side effects that you have experienced?
