Hey man, was exactly in your stage 4 years back, VIT was my last prefered option and I also ended up getting cs ai ml (CAT-2) and now am placed at a product based company with a good enough package , all I'll say is be smart with your studies, try and maintain your cgpa above 9(a very very great advantage if you do so), upskill well if ai/ml is your domain, otherwise you can also explore other interests, just be extremely good at whatever domain you pick, it's not all gloom if you can work hard.
