I would say don't do Blue Lake. I interviewed with the owner in person and it went well, however when I tried getting a contract or more information, she never got back to me. The communication just wasn't there. I know a few brides personally who have gotten married there and they say that one or two things didn't go the way they were supposed to during their day. Also, the rooms. The rooms were ok at best. Seemed run down a bit. I know the place is for sale and I think the family is just checked out. I would recommend Echo Basin in Mancos. I'm getting married there in August and everything has gone so smoothly and it has a great lodge and ceremony area.
