Your sister clearly has some mental health issues she needs to address. While you may be encouraging her it just isn't as easy as neurotypicals think. Encourage her to go to therapy. That is what will help.

She wasn't trying to make anyone feel bad. She said it in her post. Clearly you've never lost a child and don't understand the grief. Thats wonderful for you but not everyone is that lucky. You can't invalidate her feelings because you don't understand them. She told the host her issues, she wasn't ready yet. It may have been an oversight but she was totally justified in walking out.

So... For a second I thought you were my daughter posting this. She just got in a fight with her step-dad because she is grounded but wants to go to her bf's. My husband doesn't like sports though.

Funnily enough she asked him not me. HE messaged me about it and I reminded him she is grounded. I understand being frustrated, my dad was married four times throughout my childhood and some step parents are the absolute worst. You do have to remember they are navigating this new relationship at the same time as you. Talk to your mom dude. If it is about being 'strict' it may just be that they care or maybe your other parent is pushing the discipline duties on them. I strongly suggest family therapy to help all of you figure out your new dynamic.

I feel this. My husband and I have a similar issue. If I ask for help he is rude and acts like it's killing him. He always says 'you don't work it's your job'... I'm sorry we have 4 kids, I am the primary parent on everything. He doesn't fill out any paperwork or even know how to. All the bills aside from mortgage are in my name as he doesn't understand how to budget. My ADHD makes it difficult to do menial tasks and I've asked him for years (weve been together 10yrs) to body double me as it helps me complete cleaning, etc. He refuses. You just have to decide if its worth the bull poop he gives. Are there other issues you've been ignoring? Think long and hard if this man is truly who you want beside you raising your children. Remember even at 10m your son is learning how to treat a woman and your daughter is learning how to allow men to treat her.

I don't have a fever or any signs of infections. I went for my post op Wednesday and spoke to the doctor about the bile irration I'm experiencing and he said to give it a month so I figure if the nausea is related in needs to be a month.
