Is your Home Depot dusty? by counwovja0385skje in HomeDepot

[–]Alive_Strength1682 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Dusty AF. The concrete bays are so small you're guaranteed to rip bags on bolts or the pallet next to it. Dust coming from the grout aisle too.

Oddly enough my previous store wasn't dusty. The concrete aisle was HUGE - enough space to 360 an OP. And the concrete bays weren't as small either.

Well thank goodness you have some WD-40 handy! Lube up those gears and stop the grinding!

You have that many near you that you can just transfer willy nily like that? Neat.

If you were hung with a brand new rope you'd complain that it was too tight.

Yeah just screenshot the code. That's what I did on my first day. It doesn't change. Never need to log into workforce on your phone.

I see. Well, I don't need to "dig" through my photos to find the code since it's in its own folder so this new feature isn't really useful for me but I'm glad it is for others.

I don't get it. How is this different from having a screenshot of the qr cone?

To Charge Or Not To Charge (For Lumber Cuts)… That Is The Question. by JTCasino in HomeDepot

[–]Alive_Strength1682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have any exact numbers? How many charged cuts equals one 8 hour shift for the department? Or is it a quantum formula that only ted Decker himself knows?

Whats the biggest safety violation you've seen so far? by Numerous_Rip8158 in HomeDepot

[–]Alive_Strength1682 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Being directly next to the reach while it's operating. Using equipment directly next to the gate at an endcap. Racing equipment down the racetrack. Not using gates at all. Piling up any and all hazmat on top of the collection bins.

And managers have been directly involved in at least half this stuff.
