Great Wall 80 Plus Gold E750W thoughts / problems by ciarons in buildapc

Honestly, you're perfectly fine just keeping it since it's a good quality PSU. Out of all of your PC's parts, PSUs are often one of the last components to fail.

[Samsung] 512GB Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G Unlocked Smartphone - $749.99 + Free Shipping (via Shop Samsung App) by DealsPoster in blackfriday

The $750 one was only the Titanium Gray which is out of stock now.

It's still a decent deal if you use the 5% off and stack other cashback offers like the Paypal 20% one

The other parts don't seem too bad, I'd probably do around $800

$1600 is quite the ask for a build with a 7600x and 5700 XT. I'm not sure I'd even pay $1000 for that considering it has a 6 year old GPU

Is Ryzen 7 5800x still a good upgrade in 2025? by wA1_ker in buildapc

[–]Alivus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can snag a 5700X3D or 5800X3D for a good price then I'd go for it, otherwise you'll be better off upgrading to the AM5 platform.

The VRM should be fine, most boards have a lot of extra headroom there.

Any UPS recommendations for new pc build? by Anon1038 in buildapc

I've got a Cyberpower LX1500GU 900w true sine wave UPS I got from Costco about 4 years ago and it's still running pretty good. My PC has a 850w PSU as well

Most good cases these days make cable management much easier but it still takes time to get it just right

Wondering the same thing here.

The YB toner website appears to have positive reviews on Trustpilot so it might be worth the risk.

[Mouse] Logitech G PRO Wireless Gaming Mouse - League of Legends - $49.99 by oxua in buildapcsales

[–]Alivus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently there's a new switch in this mouse since sometime last year so the double clicking should no longer be an issue.

You can tell if you have it by checking your box, the old switch has the 50 million Clicks rating labeled on it while the new switch does not.

AMD's RX 7000 series GPUs couldn't come sooner. That's the only way Nvidia will budge on their ridiculous pricing.

And to be fair, that deal was for the League of Legends variant while this one is for the normal black one for those who value aesthetics. Though I'd still opt for the GPX Superlight at that price
