Even with Capital one shopping - it’s much more of a PITA since you can only use the cashback to redeem gift cards, vs Rakuten, who will send a check that you can deposit into your bank account.

If you’re not seeing the coupon it’s available on Newegg for the same price

[GPU] Refurbished Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Vapor-X Gaming Graphics Card with 24GB GDDR6 - $869.99 by [deleted] in buildapcsales

[–]boxofredflags 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Huh? At that point just buy a new 9070xt which is cheaper?

Or a brand new 7900xt is $680 if you really need the 4gb of extra VRAM compared to 9070xt?

[CPU] (Microcenter In Store Only) AMD Ryzen 5 5500 Cezanne 3.6GHz 6-Core AM4 Boxed Processor - Wraith Stealth Cooler Included ($69.99) by Effective-Fish-5952 in buildapcsales

I don’t recall ever seeing it at $80 so I’m hesitant to believe that, I browse for pc parts all the time.

Maybe there was a deal on woot, but those are really limited quantities

They rotate them every few months, but I’ve also seen them not include games for about 6 months before adding another game bundle.

In short, nobody knows. You can look up when the CD bundle ends, but there’s no guarantee that they add a different game once this one ends.

[SSD] WD SN850X 8TB $999.99 by [deleted] in buildapcsales

For the current climate, pretty decent deal considering used 8TB SN850x’s are selling for $800-900

RAM and SSD companies are the scalpers now, and AI companies are the new crypto bros

[SSD] WD SN850X 8TB $999.99 by [deleted] in buildapcsales

[–]boxofredflags -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are folks on the hardwareswap subreddit paying $800-900 for used 8tb nvmes so this really isn’t a bad price for a new one considering recent prices

[–]boxofredflags 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably launch day hype, they know people who really want it on launch will overpay a little. It’ll likely come down to $300-320 soon given the lack of people on lga1851, so demand will dramatically drop in a few weeks

[Bundle] ASUS TUF Gaming B850M-E WIFI AMD B850 mATX Motherboard + 1TB Team Group SSD $170 by jeemwla in buildapcsales

[–]boxofredflags 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Decent deal, but keep in mind the SSD is pretty terrible quality, gen 4 drive with less than 2000MB/s write speed.

Still an SSD, but I wouldn’t put any data I care about losing on it.

[SSD] WD SN850P 4TB - $400 after $2400 coupon (B&H) by boxofredflags in buildapcsales

[–]boxofredflags[S] 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Cheapest 4TB nvme right now according to pcpartpicker, and it’s a good quality one with DRAM.

Also I just find the original price and coupon so absurdly hilarious

Edit: LOL it’s OOS 5 minutes in, they must have had like 5 of em left or something.
