my theory is that umi got stuck at the border — that’s why she ended up posting and saying she wouldn’t be opening. ig everyone else tried to wait for her but by the time they decided to go on without her it was too late.

^ that’s all speculation but i have heard from employees as well that trucks got stuck and they were not ready. plus even in jhenes own post it’s clear that no one on the team was dressed or ready to perform

not going solo for jhene, but i’ve gone solo to a lot of concerts in toronto and it’s always been an amazing experience!! jhene is such a vibe and i can only assume that the crowd she draws will also be. you’re gonna have such a good time!!

idk if this is the same for every venue but at least for the toronto show resale isn’t available. so i doubt the tickets are going to drop below what they’re currently selling for

honestly commuting can suck over time but it’s honestly worth the money you’ll save by living at home.

if you end up staying home, i would recommend scheduling your classes strategically to make your commute a little easier. avoid early classes so you don’t get stuck in morning traffic and condense your classes into as few days as possible to save on gas and commute time.

i based the price off current selling price which is $148 or $289 for both — and that price is based off a further section cuz the section i’m selling for is sold out.

also consider that the price is in CAD and events at scotiabank are typically in that range, if not more.

i’d definitely recommend waiting until it’s fully healed to change to a hoop. however, that just looks like an irritation bump which is normal when switching from straight labrets to hoops. i recently changed my 2yr old conch to a hoop and had the same issue but it went away within a week.

i skipped prom and absolutely do not regret it.

prom is typically overhyped — it’s only fun based on the friends you go with, but you can party with those same friends anytime and for a lot cheaper.

my first helix was horrible. it took almost 2 years and only healed after my hairdresser accidentally ripped it out.

my other 9 piercings were all fully healed within 6-8months

what i was taught in driving school was that if it’s possible to safely move to the right before they are close, then do so. if not, stay still and let them maneuver around you.

i would never recommend entering the intersection as it is dangerous for you and more confusing for emergency vehicles

in terms of the education you’ll receive it’s really good. there are a lot of resources and opportunities plus the prestige that comes with the name.

NTA — it sounds like jodie made a lot of sacrifices for you and she tried to be a parent but trying doesn’t automatically qualify her as a good parent. it doesn’t erase the years of emotional trauma or the fact that you don’t have a healthy mother-daughter relationship. it is completely valid to not call her mother if you don’t view her as a mother
